Our dog, Lydia was coughing and started licking and eating everything - in other words acting very strange and nervous. We brought her in on a Sunday evening and the staff was so helpful, calming, and professional. They gave us our options, gave us their opinion, and gave us time to talk over any decisions that had to be made. Lydia was treated with loving care, and so were we! This is the only emergency care vet where we bring our dogs. We will never take the chance to go anywhere else! Thank God for this place! Thank you, AERC!

This is by far the best experience my dog and I have ever had at a veterinary office. The atmosphere was calming and inviting, unlike most places. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. You could tell that they truly cared about my pet. We were put in a personal room immediately which allowed for my dog to stay calm and take a nice nap during our hour and a half wait which the staff had informed us of when we arrived. They also had cookies! Which was the best. The veterinarian we worked with was very friendly, knowledgeable, and kind to our dog. She spent a few minutes letting him sniff her and even gave him a belly rub while she was doing her exam! The veterinarian also explained everything in very easy to understand terms. At the end of our visit, I was sent home with specific and easy to follow instructions. I am very happy that the Animal Emergency and Referral Center was there to helping us out!

When your pet is in distress, it is so disconcerting. But knowing that there are people who care and are professionals, ready to help, can ease your mind. The folks at Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota are such people. When my precious pet fell ill they did all they could to help him and me through it. Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to my pet, but they were so kind and gentle and provided support for me during the process. When faced with an emergency with my current pet, I knew exactly who would help. AERC of Minnesota!

My dog had an upset stomach this weekend; was vomiting and had diarrhea (fun times!). Anyway, of course this happened when my regular vet was closed so we had to find an after hours place to go. I did not have to wait long to be seen by the doctor. I also appreciated that the staff did not try to push tests and treatments on me; my dog gets an upset stomach frequently so I know what to do. It was nice that they didn't make me feel like a horrible dog owner for not running every test known to man. :)

The staff at Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota did an absolutely wonderful job of getting my cat in immediately. They were easy to find and were really patient and kind about answering my questions on the phone before I actually came into the center. My cat was treated respectfully and I was consistently informed about the status of my cat's tests, results, and appropriate follow up. I would absolutely use them again, if I were in another emergency situation.
