As a dog lover and owner for all of my life, I've brought my pets to numerous vet clinics and without a doubt, this clinic is the best that I've found. Anyone can say they are kind and compassionate, but this group of professionals show it. I knew I had the right vet for "my girls" when I walked in and saw that someone from the Tri County Humane Society was there to pick up a sweet little cocker spaniel that was being treated by Dr. Gerds; that little guy was treated with as much care and compassion as my dog and every other dog I saw coming and going the time I was there. They proved their concern by taking about 1.5 hours in looking over my Maggie and then really talking to me about her diabetes and what food she should be on, home monitoring, plan of care; something the clinic I have just left failed to do. I cannot recommend them higher. Anyone who knows me says that they want to come back as one of my dogs; that's how much I love my dogs and they will only be seen by Advanced Care and their wonderful, caring team. Thank you

Advanced Pet Care deserves my highest rating. I trust Dr. Gerd will give me the information I need to make the best decisions for my dog. I have been taking our rescued miniature schnauzer to Dr. Gerd for a few years. A couple of years ago, our dog seemed to be poisoned or was dying. Dr. Gerd quickly assessed the situation, performed tests and provided a diagnosis. Within 72 hours our dog was better than she had been in months. Over the years, Dr. Gerd has provided routine care, urgent care and took care of some significant dental problems with compassion and at a more affordable rate than other local vets had quoted. Office Manager Tom Gerd provides excellent customer service and care. He is always focused on helping clients and is willing to go above-and-beyond to help customers. I have many examples of his service oriented attitude and one recent act of kindness really sticks out. I walked in 2 minutes before the office was scheduled to close to pick up prescription food just before a major holiday. Tom was packed up, computers off and heading out to begin his holiday (he was even taking a day off - a first in a long time). He saw me and kindly asked what I needed and, without a bit of frustration, turned around, turned on his computer and rang up my products. Wow. Advanced Pet Care's team is focused on providing great care for pets and building long-lasting service oriented relationships with pet owners. I am grateful to Dr. Gerd, Tom and their team for providing a place where I know my pet is a priority and affordability is always a consideration.

I have very good visits when I bring my cat in. They answer all my question , give helpful advise and they are very fairly priced. They are also very friendly and welcoming

Highly recommended 10 stars! (And I very Rarely Say that) This place is Awesome!!!! We bring our pets and they are all greeted with a smile. (Humans are too) In fact we have a Black Lab that is terrified of everyone and everything. However he seems to feel right at home here. Doctor Gerds, Tom (AKA "Office Guy"), and all of the staff have a genuine passion that can be felt for every creature that walks through the door (humans included). The pricing is great and the service is second to none. Its good to leave a place feeling educated and not just "Doing what the Doctor says". Our Critter are our kids and we would never want or expect anything other than the best that we can give them. It is very rare I recommend and person or business unless they do a fantastic job or provide exceptional service.

My wife and I had a concern that our chihuahua may have obtained heart worm after researching certain symptoms. We instantly searched the internet for a possible veterinarian location and chose Advanced Care Pet Hospital. We set up an appointment right way to check everything out; the staff was very detailed, efficient, and professional taking our call. When I arrived on our appointment date the service was excellent, staff was polite and informative. Our dog turned out to not have any signs of heart worm and was told there was nothing further to worry about. The bill was paid and we left feeling relieved and happy to have paid them a visit. For anyone interested in a veterinarian “Advanced Care Pet Hospital” is very well priced, has excellent care, and staff. Could not have found a better place to take out dog, and thank this location for their services. (Definitely a repeat customer)
