I have two very skittish cats who very rarely leave the house. Even though I personally work with all sorts of dogs and cats every day, I was still nervous about my own two going to the vet for their annual shots. I warned him about their 'not so friendly' personalities and held my breath during their examination. He was wonderful! Everyone came out unscathed and the shots were quick and seemingly painless. He took his time with them and gave them some good petting and I was both amazed and delighted. I was still shaking when we returned to the car, but the cats were fine.
We use Belton Animal Clinic and love them because they do exotic animals. However, when it came to our Vizsla that needed ACL replacement that they didn't do they recommended us to Raytown Animal Hospital and Dr. Chirpich. We were EXTREMELY pleased with his services and his staff. Our Vizsla did great. Bad news was he ended up tearing his other ACL and we returned back to Dr. Chirpich. He's home and recovering and we are VERY pleased again.
I would like to express how pleased I am with the services provided by Dr. Rose and his staff. He has cared for our boxers for a number of years. His advice as to treatment has always respected our wishes, but he does not hesitate to help us make an appropriate decision that is in the best interest of our pets and our pocket book. Our pets have always done well with any surgery and have had no complications. Their recoveries has gone smoothly and quickly. I would recommend this clinic to anyone needing good and reasonable veterinarian care. We have had years of excellent service.
I am not saying the treatment isn't good or the people aren't friendly. What I am saying is the vet gave my Mothers cat shots it had already had without asking [billed me for them] and the products are twice as expensive as other Raytown Locations. They didn't give my cat the flea bath it needed that another vet provided.
I took two of my cats here to be declawed. They did a great job, let me go in to see them after the surgery and now a couple of years later the cats have no discomfort and let me handle their paws with no problem. I took my other cat to another vet here in Raytown, and even paid extra for laser surgery because I was told it is supposed to heal better and be less painful for the animal. (this was before I found Raytown Animal hospital) the cat I took to the other vet will not let anyone touch her paws! The employees here really care and are very helpful.
