I've had previous good experiences with this center with multiple pets over the years, but tonight has proven to be a different story. My sister found a small kitten on the road in Jackson that was missing its tail, has a ruptured eye, a severe respiratory infection, and is covered from head to toe in fly larvae. When we arrived at Animal Emergency Center, we were promptly asked if we would be keeping the cat. We were trying to give the animal a fighting chance by taking it here, where we thought a veterinarian would care, but we were promptly asked for money and upon refusal they sent us packing. They did offer to put the cat down, without even looking at it. Have you seriously grown so tired of your job that you can send an animal out to die without a care in the world? I understand you are running a business, but this has left a taste in my mouth that will last for a long time. -8 customers.
