It is unfortunate that our area has only this facility to rely upon for the emergency care and treatment of our pets. After several horrible experiences, involving a lack of compassion, misdiagnoses (on one trip- vet missed the fracture on the x-ray, sent us home without appropriate pain meds and no recommendation follow up) and they charge exorbitant fees. A one star rating for the service I have received at this facility is more than what I feel is deserved.

Convenient overnight and weekend hours for situations that cannot wait for a regular veterinary appointment. Reasonable fees and attentive care. It seems equivalent to the service you would expect for a human ER compared your regular care provider, not as great, but in an emergency exactly what you need. I have used them a couple of times, one being a true emergency and they performed.

Dr. Toner and the staff are superb. Have used their services two different times. They are extremely skilled, very knowledgeable, provide excellent customer service, and maybe most importantly of all- care deeply about the animals they see. This care shows through in everything they do. Cannot recommend them enough if you are in the unfortunate position of dealing with an emergency.

Im Sorry I Had A Small Chi Dog Who Was Only 2 Years Old (Marley) He Got Diarrhea But Was Blood. PURE BLOOD.. Mind You He Has Had All His Shot And Was To Date .. When I Took Him In They Took Him From me. Took Him back And Took Blood From him .. brought Him back into the room And handed Him To me .. Said He Only Had Diarrhea He Will be Fine In the Morning.. I Paid 679.00 Which Didn't matter Cause I thought he Was Going to Be Ok, And he Is my Kid I loved him So Much. The next morning He Was Acting Strange and roaming around the house looking for a place to hide. i went to the store and was gone maybe 15 min at most and got home to find him hidden behind my dryer, I Right away Called Melissa Smith In Willard and told her his problem. She said get Him here As Fast As You Can.. He Was bleeding so bad it was like a vein was cut in his bowels.. when i got him there he was crying.. my poor boy was in pain.. she cleared her desk and started an Iv Right as i got in and got him a warm heating pad.. his temp was dropping and fast.. I Was Crying telling her to please save him.. I held Him One Last time and kissed his little nose. he was able to give me a kiss on my cheek.. I called threw-out the day and still no change in him.. Finally at 5pm She called .. My Little Boy Was Gone.. Just like that.. she told me he had been suffering and she had him on pain meds for pain .. He had a tare in his little Tummy.. Had this wicked Horrible Place They Call Emergency Veterinary Clinic Taken A Little Time to get Xrays My Little boy Would be Here today.. I Have thought About Calling An Attorney Regarding this.. From now On I Go To Melissa Smith In Willard She Is The Best !! This Place Robbed me Of Not Only money But My Little Boys Life.. And No-one Can Ever tell me They Are A Good place.. NO ONE!

After reading the reviews, I wanted to say that Dr. Whittington has been great for our pets everytime we have been there. She is kind, compassionate, and always explains things very well. The clinic is very clean and all the staff has always been knowledgeable and caring. The other doctors have been great too! Maybe the reviews are from disgruntled clients and unfortunate things have happened but to just out right defame someone because you are upset is not a nice thing to do.
