They are awful! I went to them for 'reconstructive' surgery for my dog's bow leg. They 'reconstructed' it alright.. her little leg was plated and screwed so many times that you could not see the bone afterwards. He plates broke twice even though she was kept in THEIR care during recovery. Once I went to Birmingham for a second opinion, I was told that the type of surgery that was done was not appropriate for my dog. A plate should have never been used. They should have used a pole-type of structure in the elbow to lengthen the bone... The surgery was completely botched and my dog suffered for months. Her leg was still bowed. The plates broke and they charged me to 'replate' it and do a second surgery. They broke again. I went to Birmingham and they removed the plates that were causing my dog discomfort... I was reimbursed $800 by Animal Medical Center... I paid over $3000 for two botched surgeries, months of problems and my dog contracted ringworm and some bacterial respiratory infection from their kennel during "recovery". ABSOLUTELY AWFUL people... and they seem so nice and professional at first... but it is ALL FAKE. They never apologized or claimed responsibility for anything.

Animal Medical Center of Hattiesburg has 9 veterinarians and they have two clinics. The one is located in Petal, Ms. listed as Petal Animal Clinic. These clinics have very nice facilities. The doctors and staff are very friendly and they all treat everyone special. They do an awesome job with surgeries, routine visits, patient education and care for each pet that is brought to them. The benefit to the client is that the doctors are available to handle the emergencies and routine visits because of the multiple veterinarians on staff. They have very knowledgable and helpful staff members and they all do a great job. They offer an adoption center, pet grooming, pet boarding and they have a great doggie daycare. This is a very nice hospital with caring doctors and staff members.

Absolutely the best experience. I drove from Vicksburg, MS to take my dog to this clinic. The level of knowledge and experience is hard to come by anywhere. I totally trust these folks.

My two boys, Logan and Max, had a great experience at the Animal Medical Center. Logan's coat was so shiny and groomed perfectly and Max was able to get all of his vaccines and bath. They prices are pretty much the same as the other Vet I was taking Logan to. We had a huge bill for Logan and tried to pay monthly with that clinic. If you have pets period you will need to make sure you have enough money to take care of them. Their care is not cheap at hardly any of the vet clinics. I shopped around and found they are all pretty much the same prices. I highly recommend this center for great care of your pets.
