Our family has used the Veterinary Services of The Pet Connection for over 10 years. The Doctors and Assistants have always treated our pets and ourselves as family. The costs of the services are very reasonable.

Great Place! We bring both our dogs and they get wonderful care and attention.

We brought our American Eskimo, Grisha, to this place in December, 2011, for a shampoo and pedicure. The groomer, Pandora, shaved his underside and rump area down to the skin and hacked off a lot of his other fur, including his ruff. He was unrecognizable when we picked him up. I Googled this girl and found 5 separate drug busts (dealing and using) for her. She was on probation in Tampa, FL and had left the area to relocate in Ocean Springs. I suspect that the vets who own this place did not do a thorough background check on her before hiring her. We complained but the vets would not respond, not even to a letter I wrote. They did not offer to refund the $65 fee we had paid to have our dog's coat absolutely butchered by this groomer. There is no such thing as a standard "cut" for an Eskie. Their fur is not supposed to be cut at all, except perhaps to trim a little around the butt in order to prevent feces from becoming trapped in the long fur. Grisha was traumatized by this experience, especially by whatever Pandora did to restrain him while she shaved him. He needed to be placed on doggie tranquilizers, and didn't want to ride in the truck any longer because he was afraid we were bringing him back to this place. My advice is to avoid The Pet Connection. There are plenty of competent grooming and vet services in Ocean Springs. We have discovered since this disastrous experience that the Bienville Animal Clinic has a grooming service, and that is where we now take Grisha.

My wife loves to take her Jack Russel to them. They are very nice and good at what they do but, the dog gets treated better than I do.
