Chuck, Sandy and the rest have always treated my animals with skill and care. We have been through routine care as well as trauma and serious illness with several animals over the years. I have always appreciated the level of care, the quality of referrals (when necessary). Staff members seem to enjoy working there (always a good sign in my book) and are both pleasant and helpful. The loss of pets to age or illness is handled gently and compassionately. I have recommended them numerous times and will continue to do so.
They are more expensive than other local vets, but when we had a lengthy rehabilition with our cat who broke his leg, they charged us minimally on follow up appointments and new casts. They can seem impersonal at first, I think once you get to to know the staff they can be friendly. They are not always available especially after hours, other places do have someone who will at least answer the phone, even if they can't see you. They seem up to date with the latest research and while they are not always prepared to try wholistic or alternative therapies they were at least willing to talk about them. We are staying with them because we have built a relationship and they are local, but if I had just moved to town, I might try elsewhere...
