I brought my new cat to Ace of Spays last week to get neutered under their affordable "silver" package. I assumed that at the extremely low $65 price, he might not get top-notch care. But since I just got the cat and he was a stray, admittedly I wasn't too concerned. But I ended up pleasantly surprised! If it weren't for the stitches I wouldn't have known anything was done. He was up and about the same night, no reactions to the surgery, and a week later that "unfixed male" urine smell is gone. The visit went smoothly although I did end up waiting quite a while to pick him up because they were very busy. But the staff was friendly and professional, and I was impressed at the automated scheduling, online forms, and emailing and texting visit reminders.

I worked at Ace of Spays as a veterinary technician and just wanted to share how impressed I was with procedures and protocols there. After having worked at other clinics, I was so pleased when I went to work for Dr. Cobb; she truly puts customers and their pet's needs first. The clinic is kept spotless, the customer service is outstanding and she offers different "packages" for the owners to choose from for their pets that will fit almost every budget. A clean, sterilized surgical pack is used for every animal, and pain meds are provided for the pet's comfort. Owners can also elect to purchase pain meds (very affordable) post surgery---this veterinarian really CARES about the animals! I have since accepted a position as Shelter Manager at the Joplin Humane Society in Joplin, Missouri. I modeled our Spay/Neuter clinic after Ace of Spays with Dr. Cobb's permission. I overwhelmingly recommend that anyone who needs their pet spayed or neutered contact Ace of Spays. I had my own pets spayed there, my rescue animals spayed there and spread the word to family and friends who also utilized the clinic. Great Job, Ace of Spays!
