Went there once and was disgusted with how uncleanly the place was. The staff would talk to the clients out in the waiting room about their pets instead of bringing them into an exam room for privacy. The staffs appearance wasn't exactly assuring. One of the techs or assistants dressed like he was from the hood with his pants down to his knees and his cigarettes hanging out of his back pocket. Talked to the people very unprofessionally too. I ended up just walking out.
Dr. Holland and crew saved my 4.2 lb pom by making life sustainment decisions in a timely manner. She communicates well with her peers in the field of Vet. Medicine in NJ and her results are easily transferrable to other vets. Alliance Emergency is equipped onsite to provide accurate detailed diagnostics that permit them to make decisions for your friend when time might be running out. These people care about your pet and will do everything possible to improve its situation.
Stay away from this place! Some of their veterinarians have no clue as to how to treat animals, in particular Dr. Mandeep Mini. They are all too happy to take your money, and will keep it even if they mess up. I brought my cat in the middle of the night with an emergency; she was bleeding from her nose and mouth. Dr. Mini told me she was poisoned and needed treatment for that. I left my cat with them and she was treated the next day and night, and I was told to pick her up the next morning. I was charged almost $3000. My cat, however, still had major problems. She was not eating, coughing, and making a snoring noise. Over the weekend she got worse and worse. On Monday I took her to my local vet, who told me she did not seem poisoned at all, but had all the signs of a nasopharyngeal polyp. Upon further examination, he referred her to a specialist. I took my cat to the specialist (at AERA) who operated on her ear. She recovered and is happy and healthy now. I sent Alliance a letter and asked them for my money back, since they misdiagnosed my cat, and charged me almost $3000 for treatment she didn t need. They had her for over 24 hours, yet failed to notice the obvious symptoms that my regular vet recognized within 5 minutes. They did talk to me the first few times I contacted them, but refused to refund anything. Eventually, they no longer responded to my calls. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and they ended up with an F rating. If you want really good emergency care for your animal, go to Animal Emergency and Referral Associates (AERA) in Fairfield; they are EXCELLENT.
***I RECENTLY BROUGHT MY CAT TO ALLIANCE. WHAT IT CAME DOWN TO WAS SHE NEEDED AN ANTIBIOTIC (WHICH I KNEW & TRIED TO TELL THEM THAT) AND A NASAL SPRAY. THAT WAS IT AND THE CHARGES WERE EXCESSIVE IN MY OPINION. I WOULD SAY STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
