I had this vet put down my beloved 14 yo dog. They were so kind, thoughtful and easy going, about the whole situation. I now bring my 2 new pups to them and our older cat. I find them fair and reasonable. More importantly, I find them educated and huge animal lovers. I am very happy here. They take their time with us, give us options and make sure we know what we need to know. I did use another local vet in town for several years and I was never happy. High priced and rushed, no explanation', little interest in my animals. When I needed "their" patient put down, the cost was obscene and insulting. Give Bayview a try. I am very glad I did.

Not really sure if the other reviewers went to the same place that I bring my dog, but ... I found Bayview Animal on a recommendation from a vaccine clinic and when I called for an appointment, they got me in within two days of my call. The staff and techs are ALWAYS so nice and the vets are very gentle and kind. They take wonderful care of my 2 1/2 year old Shiffon. The vet found that my dog is allergic to one vaccine (which his previous vet did not tell me) and also that he could develop a problem with his knees later in life. Had I not taken him to this vet and received such good care and attention to detail, I would have never known these important things. Yes, their prices are high. But they offer clinics and give you deals during certain times of the year. It is ABSOLUTELY worth it. If you are a pet owner and complain about the cost of care for your furry friend, why have a pet at all? Would you say the same about a child? Bayview Animal is THE place to go - no matter what. I travel almost 45 minutes to get there because it's worth it. They treat me and my pup like family and always praise how good he is during an exam and how cute he is too! I love them there!

Dont waste your money, go to Toms River Animal Hospital instead. Took my dog here to get xrays. The techs/receptionists were very unprofessional! Vet was rude. I could hear everyone talking about be behind the closed door. Hidden charges. When i payed and got ready to leave the techs continued with their conversation and did not say a word to me. I said thanks and goodbye, and was ignored by the young techs. Horrible service. Go to Toms River animal hospital! I give them a perfect score. Warm welcomes, no hidden charges. They are straight forward with you. All the vets there are amazing. Its clean. very professional. When I had to put mhy dog to sleep they were very sad and truly cared. A week later I received a nice card in the mail. Great place to take your pets.
