At first I was nervous about bringing my kitten here to be spayed. I'd read the reviews and although most were good, the "not so good" ones scared me. I did it anyway and I'm really glad I did. These people treated my kitten very nicely and were very patient with me explaining everything in detail. They went above and beyond to the point of doing me a favor which I'll not add here as people reading this review might expect it as well. (ie: "You did it for the guy who wrote the google review!!") but suffice to say they didn't have to, but they did. My point is that they really cared about me & my pet. If your wondering about getting your pet fixed here, pay them a visit and see for yourself.

Love them, have been taking my pets here for years for one reason and one reason alone, they love animals. So many experiences I have had w/vets that are just looking at the money aspect, they do not do that here, they truly love the animals. Thank you for always making me feel better at a time where my pet and my heart are not happy :)

I think this Vet does a great job, very thorough exam, competent doctors. I am very pleased with how they handle my Maltese.

I went there to have my dog spayed and they did a really good job, everything went fine and they treated my little puppy like a princess :) Another great thing about it is the price, they have very good prices for everything. I am recommending this place to everyone don't be afraid they know about dogs and cats !!

I recently brought my cat in to be spayed. I was very uneasy and stressed out about the procedure not to mention seeing some of the negative reviews about this facility but I had priced around and Island Rescue was close to my home and they had the best price for the spaying which included vaccines. I'm glad I decided to go with Island Rescue. When I got there my mind was put at ease. They opened on time, actually a few minutes early. The staff was professional and courteous. When I picked up my cat after the procedure the staff informed me on what to expect and how to care for her. Her incision is small and is healing nicely and they even trimmed her nails. After two days my cat bounced back and is doing wonderful. I have to say the entire process went smoothly and I have already recommended this facility to a friend.
