The care and attention your pet will receive here will exceed even the best Human Hospital. This is truly a State of the Art facility capable of handling any problem. I've always been given the option of the how intense (and expensive) I want to go. There was always Option A and Option B and they don't try to upsell you to one or the other. I drive 4 hours to bring my pet here for surgeries and routine care.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!! RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please think twice before bringing your loved one to this hospital. They KILLED MY BABY!!!!! THERE GREED, OVER-MEDICATING, NOT THINKING OF THE WELFARE OF YOUR BABY, WILL DO MORE HARM THAN GOOD. UNFORTUNATELY I LEARNED THE HARD WAY. THEY GIVE NON FDA APPROVED MEDICINE TO YOUR PET WHICH WILL HARM THEM. THEY PROBE AND TO UNNECESARY PROCEDURES JUST TO RAISE YOUR BILL AND NOT THINKING WHAT THE OUTCOME WILL BE. IN MY CASE IT WAS DEATH!!!! IF YOUR LOVED ONE WAS GIVEN VIIN-CRISTINE, PLEASE READ UP HOW SO HARMFUL AND FATAL THIS DRUG IS. MY DOG DID NOT EVEN HAVE CANCER, AND THEY GAVE HER THIS VIN-CRISTINE WITHOUT TESTING IF SHE HAD CANCER, TO BE FOLLOWED BY A BONE MARROW. "SHE HAD NO CANCER". THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BE CAREFUL BEFORE GOING TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

Are they expensive? You bet--they are a 24 hour hospital facility fully staffed with excellent doctors. No matter where you go with a sick pet in the middle of the night, it will be expensive. My dog needed overnight care following emergency surgery, and I found the staff to be patient, caring and knowledgeable, I spoke with three different doctors over almost twenty-four hours, and all three were kind, competent, and generous with their time. I also watched all these people interact with a dozen other people and pets, and was impressed by everyone's skill and professionalism. And though the experience cost a lot, they worked with me to keep the cost as minimal as possible. I hope I never need them again, but the next time I have an after-hours emergency, they will be the first people I call.

Can't say enough about Dr. Porter and Katonah Beford. My fiancé and I woke up to our beloved bulldog Pudge unable to move, she was literally paralyzed. After 3 separate vet visits we finally took her to Katonah Bedford and met Dr. Porter. He figured out what was going on within 24 hours of observation and LITERALLY saved our dogs life. Today Pudge is happy and healthy and we are forever in his debt. In additional to Dr. Porter the vet techs and front desk staff are the nicest people, they truly care about animals. When Pudge was admitted we received continual updates and answered all of our questions as we must have called 100 times!

Good care provided for my dog, but I had to sell my house to pay for it. I see that they are now part of VCA America, a company that manages 540 animal hospitals in 41 states. How'd that happen, you may ask?
