I took my dog to Allen Veterinary Hospital for a general consultation after adopting her from a rescue because this hospital had the best internet reviews. I found the veterinarian to be a bit rude. As a first time client, he did not even introduce himself nor did he care to know my name, or my dogs name. Also, he did not seem to want to listen to any of the concerns that I had about my dog. He would simply talk over me whenever I tried to voice my opinion/concern. Also, I did not like the fact that the consultation room is one door away from the waiting room. The vet talks very loud and everyone in the waiting room ends up hearing your business. The vet seemed to be knowledgeable however, I am not interested in dealing with a vet who does not want to take my opinion of my dog's condition into consideration. I have since found a new vet and would not recommend this vet to anyone who wishes to build a relationship between you, your dog and the vet.
