the front area is clean and inviting the exam rooms are neat, clean, and comfortable. My old vets office left a lot to be desired. However what really counts are the Doctors ,They are caring professionals Their love of animals comes through What a great team!

If you love your animals don't bring them to this hospital. They only care about getting paid. My husband and I brought our 10 year old dog there about 4 years ago because she suddenly could not walk. They did a cat scan on her and it showed a mass in her neck area. The doctor told us it wouldn't be a problem, they would remove it and she would be up and walking in no time. Twelve thousand dollars later and she never walked again. These people should not be in business, I have never met a group of people so heartless. She had to spend a week in that place and it was on many occasions my hubby and I would go to sit with her and we would have to wait for over an 1 hour to see her. Why? Because they needed to clean her up!! We finally demanded them to release her because we could take better care of her at home. On several occasions I needed to speak with the surgeon about her condition and he was never there, after several attempts we finally gave up. There is a lot of detail I left out because when I think of what she went through I start to cry. So please don't take your babies to this hospital. After 1 1/2 years of taking care of her 24/7, we had to euthanize our precious little girl. We miss her so much everyday!

Long Island Golden Retriever Rescue has taken several dogs to Dr Kramer. He is knowledgable, compassionate and professional. One of our dogs had severe heartworm and would certainly have dies with out his help. I cannot say enough about the people there.

we brought our dog in with suspected back pain. there was no wait as we looked to be the only ones there. the vet tech was nice, and caring, and the doctor was nice and seemingly knowledgeable. They charged us $600 for blood tests, which i didn't mind if i helped diagnosed our dog. after waiting over a week for the results , we started calling, and after getting lots of excuses, we gave up. i would never go back there again. I only gave it 2 stars for the initial visit.

i'm only rating four stars because i haven't experienced any of the emergency service at this location. after a horrible experience with a 'holistic' vet who wanted to charge me over $160 for an acupuncture session for my cat, i started researching other veterinary acupuncturists in my area. dr. berg came up at atlantic coast veterinary, and only a few minutes from my house and around $100 less for each acupuncture session! dr. berg has been friendly and engaged every time i've been in (at least 6 times now) and even asks for updates on her diet after i mentioned i was going to be preparing my cats food at home. the vet techs i've interacted with are always happy and friendly. when i mentioned not having a regular vet and needing blood drawn to check on my cat's kidney function, the vet tech said she could do it, went and got pricing for me, and told me to just schedule a bit of extra time on our next acupuncture appointment and she'd draw the blood. i found the prices to be comparable to what my old private vet was charging. the vet tech mentioned they have an internal medicine specialist, who i am considering seeing if my cat's kidney function has not improved with diet and acupuncture. the front desk seems understaffed at times - it's a busy hospital and i often have to wait a few minutes for assistance, but that's not a huge deal. some people might think the front desk staff is not as compassionate as they should be, but remember they deal with people all day, not their animals. people complain and are rude; i've seen one of the employees spoken to very disrespectfully on two occasions. all in all, i've been very pleased with all of the non-urgent services my cat has received at atlantic coast veterinary and would recommend them to anyone.
