I brought my dog here September of 2015 because she was having a issue with her eye. The Vet said she thought my dog had ectopic eyelashes (meaning her eyelashes were growing out of place and irritating her eye). The Vet recommended surgery and asked me to come in 2 weeks later for a recheck. I came in 2 weeks later and saw a different vet who agreed with the ectopic diagnosis but because my dog is only 4 pounds and just over a year old he did not recommend surgery. I was not charged a recheck fee at this visit. I decided to take my dog to a vet who specializes in the eyes. Turns out my dog does not have ectopic -- she was born with no tear gland and has chronic dry eye. Imaging if I would have scheduled unneccesary surgery!!!! I should have known from this NOT to go back. My dog was due for her Rabies shot -- I called their office and was told by Jennifer that I would not have to pay for a exam because my dog was just there 3 months ago and had an exam. During my visit the Vet recommended she get her nails cut which I declined because her nails were cut the day before! He also recommended everything else under the sun including heart worm testing, heart worm preventative, flea and tick preventative, and the distemper vaccine. Mind you, my dog is 4 pounds and is a INDOOR dog. Upon checking out with Laurie I was told there would be a $70 exam fee! I explained to her that Jennifer told me I would not have to pay for an exam since my dog just had one 3 months ago. Laurie disappeared in the back room and came back to let me know that "Normally they dont do this but they would only charge me 1/2 ($35) for the exam). I explained that I was not happy that I should not have to pay, especially when their representative told me I wouldn't be charged but alas, I bit the bullet and paid the $35. During my visit the Vet told me that if I decided to get my dog the distemper shot, due to her size, that I would need to wait 2 weeks and come back for another appointment. I asked Laurie about booking this appointment and she told me I would have to pay for the vaccine (obviously) AND a recheck fee!! Recheck for what I asked?! She had no answer. I asked for my dogs records and let her know that I would not be coming back. She said she would email them to me that evening and I still have not received them. Was a really eye opening, sad experience for me. I really felt that they were just trying to over charge me for anything they could think of.

I just moved to the neighborhood about a year ago and this is the best animal hospital I have ever been to! My Cooper is a 9 year old dacshund and he is my best friend. I only want the best for him. Dr. Donofrio was amazingly gentle and kind, and Cooper, who has severe anxiety, is never nervous about going to see her. The receptionists are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. I am so glad I found and chose One Love.

Dr.D'Onofrio & Dr. Tsang have been wonderful since our dog Elwood has suddenly become very sick. Not only have they treated him with absolute kindness, they are incredibly patient with explaining things and our options to us. The front desk staff is very attentive and they almost always have appointments available when you call. Thank you for all your kindness to our Elwood.

One Love Animal Hospital is filled with caring, compassionate people who love animals. My cats are comfortable when treated and can sense that the people who are caring for them are confident, knowledgeable and just the best.

Amazing would be one word to explain One Love. Unbelievable would be one word to describe Dr. Katie. My cat Merlin was being treated for some problems he was having. First, let me say that I am a Certified Groomer for 30 years and have met many Veterinarians and even more through my clients. Outstanding was my experiences with Dr. Katie. She was the most loving, caring and pleasant Vet that I have ever met. She gives you so much time and attention on your visit. Her manner, knowledge and expertise makes her Number 1. I also want to add that the offices are beautiful, airy and spotless. I am so pleased to say that should you need a Veterinarian, One Love is the place to go and just ask for Dr. Katie. She will be like a gift for your pet and you.
