Absolutely horrible. Do yourself and your pet a huge favor, and drive the extra to get to Orchard Park. Such a shame this hospital was just built and they cannot even properly staff or run it. They actually tell you they are not "properly staffed" to watch your pet, even in a critical situation. There are 4 employees on at a time. One is usually cleaning. There is never a supervisor on duty- ever. You need to write a letter and wait for the once a month Board Meeting, and then call to see if your concerns were addressed. If you happen to have a pet die in their care, the lack of compassion says not a single staff member should be in this profession. The staff members are lazy and regularly fight, loud enough so it can be heard by others. Euthanasia is a common recommendation here, rather than stabilizing a pet so it can be seen by a qualified Veterinarian the following day. This place is like a Banfield- the vets are bottom of the barrel, far from creme of the crop. I took many of my own dogs here as well as fosters and refuse to go here again. Orchard Park is 24 hour. They have a regular vet on off hours as well as a vet for critical cases- which this vet hospital can NOT handle. Orchard Park is 24 hour and fully staffed. Take the extra drive, for your pet's sake. Even if you do happen to go here, I bet the guy at the counter playing solitaire on the computer when you walk in with the abrasive attitude will make you think twice. I am absolutely amazed this place has not shut down yet.

This past Labor Day weekend my dog Roger hurt his back paw. I feared the worse and was hoping it was not his ACL, as this has happened to another one of my pets. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff and facility! The two ladies at the desk could not have been nicer. They both could see my concern and acted quickly to get my little guy in the system. The doctor was great as well. She did an examination of him and ruled out what his ACL. It was most likely a bee sting and he was give the appropriate medication for pain and allergic reaction. Thank you all! You were awesome! All this on a Holiday weekend? Very impressive!

This place is horrible. My daughters kitten had liver failure, and this is where my vet's voice mail recommended for emergency care. When we walked in the ogre they have working the front desk was dismissive, carried our cat as if he were some sort of burden she didn't want near her. Once we were seen, it seemed like it was a huge inconvenience for the staff to try to save his life. Cost: Just to walk through the door is $45.00 The exam is $52.00 CBC blood work $78.00 Feline Leukemia check $77.00 etc, etc, etc... And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Since after spending over $300.00 and being told they don't know whats wrong with him or if they think they could save him, the ogre at the front desk 1) decided that while my daughter was sobbing holding her dying cat that it was a good idea to refuse further treatment because she's "never seen a veterinary clinic that takes American Express" and that it wasn't her issue that they didn't. How an "emergency" clinic is not able to take all forms of payment baffles me. Then 2) she charged us for Disposition/Handling of his corpse when I have an outside crematorium picking up his remains. She was told to not charge for this, and had it explained to her by other staff. I guess she listens to her coworkers as well as she shows empathy to their clients. She also 3) is refusing to release his body till the insane amount they charged to not save my cat is paid in full. Unless this place finds new staff, I highly recommend going anywhere else. They are unfriendly, rude, and had no empathy to my pet or my family.

We were in WNY visiting family when our lab mix became ill. It was very early on a Sunday morning. We took our Emma into the Clinic and was greeted by a nice very caring young lady. The med tech brought back to a very clean room, she put my mind at ease. The Doctor was very informative, helped guide us to what tests she really needed, and was very helped with explaining the cost ( as this was a very unexpected additional cost while on vacation). My husband and I were extremely pleased with the service. The reception area had fresh brewed coffee, vending. It being soooo early in the AM, it was greatly appreciated. Thank you to all the staff we encountered they are all caring folks.
