I took my sick cat to them and they did not take his symptoms seriously. My cat had SEVERE diarrhea to the point where he lost 2 pounds in one wk. I took my baby to them and they did absolutely nothing for him (except give me a fat bill). They did not give him any fluids or any meds to stop the diarrhea. I had to go online to find something to stop the diarrhea. I found a non-Rx oral med to help treat it, which it did to a point. When I brought my cat in for a check-up a wk later, I told the Dr how he got a little better and I showed him what I found/bought he said "huh? I was thinking of buying that". REALLY??!! THEN ... my cats (I have 10) had an outbreak of worms. I asked for Drontal (a de-wormer) but he insisted I get some new liquid de-wormer which was 25.00 per vile! That's 250.00!!! I told him that Drontal works just a good (I work at a no-kill shelter and that's what we use to de-worm our cats) and he kept telling me "oh ... Drontal doesn't do that, it's not a de-wormer". BS! The pills would have been cheaper and just as effective. That place is all about the money! Even my sister stopped taking her dog to them b/c she even said she felt like they kept trailing her on, not providing quick and economical care. I take my pets to Orchard Park Vet Med Cntr - they maybe pricey but they tell you what's wrong with your pet, what you need to do, and what meds you need to give. They don't string you and your wallet along for a ride!
