While Dr. Heller and his staff may have been thorough, the prices are absurd, at best. I have a cat that I had 3 teeth pulled and all shots done for under $400 at North Shore Animal League (blood work, antibiotics on way out, etc. all included). About a year ago I had been going here...one tooth, ONE tooth cost me near $600 to have pulled from my cat. Dr. Heller went on about how he needed x-rays to make sure it was ok where he couldn't see and then I had to pry them for information on what the x-ray found to hear "oh nothing but this spot to keep an eye on" which cost me $220 of that $600 total charge alone. Blood work was $160 vs $60 at North Shore Animal League. I had an "incident" as I'd call it with Dr. Heller too, I brought my cat in because he was crying a bit in the litter box, so without explaining any charges he said he'd take a urine sample for analysis. Cost? Over $200. Mind you, they called back saying his protein was high and that I should get another test after getting him on a urinary issue centered-diet. I asked when I should bring him in, and they gave me some speech about "quantifying" the original sample. I don't know about you, but using the first sample to figure out if he STILL has an issue? That was the final straw. I would look elsewhere, unless you have money to burn. I won't say he harmed my cat, but some of his advice as far as food/supplements to use wasn't the best.

Dr. Heller and his staff are amazing! We have had nothing but a great experience at this office. He saved my cat, petey's life. We bring all of our pets to this office. The absolute best !

I would never take my pets to anyone else. I have over a dozen reptiles and Dr Heller and Dr Baffa have been amazing in treating them. The office staff is very friendly and there has been more than one occasion that they have stayed open late to see one of my animals. You simply will not find a better place to take your pets/

We recently brought our dogs to Dr. Heller for the first time. I have been hearing wonderful things abut his office and staff. He has been very good with communication regarding our dogs health. I like that he is honest and does not "sugar-coat". He is compassionate - yet able to give you what you need to hear and how you need to hear it. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a vet. Plus - our dogs like him also! :)

Dr. Heller and his staff are very friendly and professional. They comforted my every question and are very understanding of how nerve racking it can be too bring your babies to the vet. They are very caring and gentle with both my dogs. My speagle who always hated the vet actually wags his tail in their office instead of his grumpy growl. I strongly recommend bringing your dogs here for all their needs.
