Another veterinary clinic had diagnosed our dog with a bowel obstruction. The cost was over $400 for the diagnosis. They wanted between $3500 and $4500 to perform the surgery. We don't have that kind of money lying around and were afraid we would have to put our dog down. We called the Dryden Animal Clinic. Dr Zwart at the clinic asked us to bring in our dog right away and he performed the surgery. The staff was thoughtful and caring. They kept our dog overnight at the clinic for observation after the surgery. Dr Zwart saved our dog's life! Dr Zwart, if you are reading this, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Oh..... The cost for the surgery at The Dryden Animal Clinic? Less than $350. It looks like we have found a new vet for our animals!

Dr. Zwart is Amazing. Move to Ithaca 2 years ago, have interviewed 4 other vets, and have been to one other in the area. Dr. Zwart is leaps and bounds better than the rest. He will not add or charge you for anything you do not need like other vets do.
