They were absolutely wonderful! This is my first time owning a pet and they advised me in such a beautiful manner. They didn't push me to do anything that i was not comfortable with. Everyone that came in contact with my adopted 6 year old dog was friendly and nice to him. I was completely comfortable being in that place and i could tell that so was my dog. I recommend this place for anyone who needs to find a vet that will care for your dog properly! :)

I am not sure what the previous review was about. I am a new pet owner and I came to Island Trees Vet because it was highly recommended to me. Both the staff and doctors were AMAZING! They answered all my questions and were very compassionate. My dog was not only neutered by Dr. Brad but was also micro chipped. I am a very nervous person, and Dr. Brad and his staff put my mind at ease about the entire process, explained everything in detail and ensured I was comfortable before leaving. I would highly recommend Island Trees!

I am in utter SHOCK as to read such negative reviews for Island Trees Veterinary Clinic! I am here to change this IMMEDIATELY!!!! First off my name is Dara and my beautiful puppy is Bella. My first experience with this office was AMAZING from the greeting at the door by Sue at the receptionist desk to filling out paperwork, and not even a 10 minute wait to be seen and be examined by the most phenomenal Dr. I was so scared and nervous because Bella is my little Fur-Baby and a member of my family. This was her first surgery having being spayed and it was traumatic for a new mommy (Me), not knowing what to expect. If it wasn’t for Sue and Tracy, I would have been a total wreck leaving Bella for the overnight surgery. Sue and Tracy were so sympathetic and caring and put my heart and Bella at ease. Their prices are VERY reasonable and everything was explained IN DETAIL before anything was done and/or charged. I am actually going back to get Bella micro chipped when she heals. While waiting for Bella to go in, we all started to talk and not only has Sue expressed she has a dog of her own, but she made me and the other patients in the waiting room feel like family where every fur-baby was treated like her own. She was very intuitive to my needs and that is very important in selecting my new forever doctor at Island Trees. This veterinary office is like NO OTHER I’ve ever seen before. I can't say enough great things. When the Doctor first met me, he had a great personality, and his sense of compassion for the animals was seen immediately. He held Bella on the table and did a thorough evaluation on her including range of motion, checked her gums, ears, you name it, it was checked. (Tell me what animal sits still and not wants to run for the door). Bella sat still and loved the Dr as well as the vet technicians. Bella gave a little trouble getting on the scale but hey….what girl wants to get on a scale right??, What a great office with such professionalism that they come highly recommended by me and all of my neighbors who have furry family members. Bella has another appointment in two weeks and she is already springing back to her normal self. I actually have Bella’s sister and neighbor making an appointment to switch to this hospital as well. I cannot thank the Dr, Sue and Tracy, for not only being the BEST office, but for making me feel so comfortable to want to spread the word and the love for all animals by bringing them to Island Trees Veterinary hospital. You made a worried and nervous mom, feel safe bringing her little one to be cared for and seen immediately. If ANYONE has any questions or concerns that I can assist in any way shape or form, please do not hesitate to contact me. I can go on and on with wonderful reviews about this office. On the way out from this last appointment, I had also had the pleasure of meeting other parents such as myself who I had made friends with, so one day we can all have puppy play dates. That’s how close and like family we all were there. If there were 10 STARS to give this office I would!!!!! ISLAND TREES VETERINARY HOSPITAL AND STAFF ARE THAT AMAZING and deserves 10 stars!!!!!!! I had gone to this hospital in the past before my previous dog "Poochie" suddenly died at only 7 1/2 years in 2010. I finally had the heart to get another adorable puppy "Penny" early this year. I tried another vet's office because I knew it would be hard to go back to the place where I last saw Poochie on a table... Needless to say, the other place wasn't nearly as nice, spacious, light and friendly. Last week I took my almost 11 month old-Penny in for a check up and even though tears filled my eyes when I saw that room, I was really pleased to meet doctor Brad G. He seems to be very caring and loving with the patients he saw while I was there. I think he liked Penny and I know she definitely liked him (she gave him a hug!) and the assistant (she gave her kisses!) who was also very nice all the time. I recommend this place 100% I look forward to many years together!

I want everyone to be aware of this place. I had to take my 18yr old poodle there (because I just moved to the area a few months ago and our vet is far away) I knew in my heart that I needed to put her down...she was 18 and clearly having a hard time breathing...I take her there in my arms sobbing & I have never dealt with such uncompassionate vet tech in my life...and I have 2 dogs and 3 cats...he was so rude and yelling at us, telling us that we needed to let him do his job...he wanted to weigh her...all I asked was if I could go in with him as he WEIGHED her so in case she died we could be by her side, all I wanted to do was place her on the scale because she was suffering. Needless to say we rushed out of there with our dying dog to another vet because he was so rude and mean from the moment we walked in. Thankfully our beloved dog died in peace with us by her side in a place where they genuinely love animals and showed some compassion.
