I have had more then 1 bad experience at this vet so I finally woke up and changed vets. I have 2 dogs both Chihuahua's. Every time I go to Harborside there is a different Vet that helps my dogs. There is never a constant vet that can actually get to know your dog and make them feel comfortable. The whole staff is extremely cold. There main concern is getting out on time and they always seem bothered. They actually refused to help my friends bleeding dog because they said they were closing so they shut the door on a bleeding dog, which should have been my 1st sign. The vet Liz is extremely extremely rude. It took them 3 people to try to cut a 13.5lb Chihuahua's nails. They had my dog pinned down like he was 100lb pit-bull. They had absolutely no control over a small dog that was muzzled and that had an eye infection so he was in pain as it was. They did nothing but make him feel worse. I had to tell them to get off my dog because my dog was gasping for air with a muzzle on and they still could not do it. I do not recommend this vet to ANYONE. Like I said I have had a few bad experiences with them but this time was the last. If that's how they treat your dog in front of you imagine how they treat them behind closed doors. I am just glad I found a vet at Fort Hill that really cares and makes my dog feel safe. He was not hiding behind the chair like he does EVERY time I bring him to harborside. Harborside has a lot of inexperienced, cold hearted vets which is the last type of person you want caring for your dog especially when they are sick. They don't know how to deal with people or dogs. I hope this review helps you decide not to use Harborside. I usually never write reviews but the way they treated my dog was totally unacceptable that I have to let other people know because I am an animal lover and no animal deserves to be treated they way Harborside treats animals
