Doctor Denise is excellent, she really cares about your animal, they have the best medical equipment on Long island for dogs and cats

My 3 dogs have been patients at Village Animal for nearly 2 years now. Most notably, my mini daschund Ruby, who I brought in on a recommendation from 2 other people for orthopedic issues. Not only did they fix a previous surgery to her knee, but they successfully corrected the other knee. There were times we thought we'd never see her walk again, but Dr. Denise and her staff saved the day. Between swimming in the heated pool and laser therapy, she got back on her feet in no time. Not to mention, she got a lot of personalized attention and she absolutely loves visiting everyone for her treatments and check ups. Unfortunately, after her recovery she had an accident and broke her back leg and dislocated her front paw area. They have gone above and beyond to help correct these issues as well. Although I had to venture to a different surgeon to fuse the front paw and try to stabilize the back leg, they constantly were checking on her and continued to see her for laser and iTherm treatments. They have been her advocate through all of this. She ended up needing an amputation on her back leg due to infection, which in any other setting we'd be so nervous. We aren't though because we have the expertise, care and guidance of the best veterinarian in New York (maybe the world). We know that Ruby would not be with us today if it were not for Village Animal Hospital. We are forever grateful!

I have never met kinder people. I have never met a group of courteous professionals that have cared so much about animals. My special cat recently became sick, and it came on so suddenly. They were quick to help, expertly taking care to keep him comfortable. Even though we are awaiting a diagnosis, they have been consummately aware of my cat's needs. They have also helped me-as an emotional pet owner-allowing me to see him and spend time with my friend. thankyou so much

I took my dog to Dr. Denise after being recommended to her years ago, because I was not happy with my other vet. However, I forgot about her and kept on seeing my regular vet even though my little baby was always terrified and appeared traumatized whenever she went there. Eventually, after she became ill again I decided that I could not put her through that torture again and took her to Dr. Denise. Oh my goodness, what a remarkable difference, first of all the place is clean!!!! no awful smells. The staff are all fantastic and Dr. Denise was so caring and obviously knew what she was talking about, even though my doggie was still apprehensive, she managed very well. Her price was totally reasonable and on top of that she recommended for us to get her medication from our pharmacy because her price might be more expensive. A total class act and thank God I have a new home for my baby.
