I am responding to the review by Frank Guerrero. This is a malicious comment from a client we had to "terminate" over a year ago who got verbally abusive with Pet Vet's staff and made various threats. He had signed and requested for his pet to be euthanized, instead of spending a small amount of money to diagnose and treat his pet. One year later he requested an exam for his other pet and we refused service due to his previous inhumane, money conscious and unsympathetic treatment of his pet. If "Horowitz only cared about the money," then why would we turn down his business? Despite his inappropriate "review", Pet Vet has one of the best, high quality veterinary hospitals on Long Island, providing five qualified doctors, seven days a week. Ned Horowitz

Pet Vet is the most compassionate, wonderful place. Dr Horowitz was amazing... This was my first time using Pet Vets because my dog was bitten by another dog, I have 5 animals and will only use Pet Vet from now on... I would highly reccomend Pet Vet to anyone... The staff is also very knowledgeable and compassionate.... Thank you Pet Vet and especially Dr. Horowitz......

Cannot say enough good things about this vet practice! The staff is very kind and accommodating. the doctors are very thorough and compassionate. Dr. Schiltke is the best! She was very patient and adept at handling our new ferrell cat despite his excitable behavior. Spent a lot of time with us - there was no rush. And had all questions answered. Will be bringing other pets to Pet Vets as well.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! Quick to push surgery.Very over priced.Wanted $2800-$3800.Got 2nd opinion could heal by itself. If surgery is needed $1200-$1500. ITS YOUR MONEY
