I disagree with many of the things written on this page. I have only had good experiences here and tho things may sometimes be costly they offer payment plans and are willing to help with costs. Dr. Maltese is always willing to explain what is wrong with my pets and what my options are. She makes everything very easy to understand. She puts the health of the pet before anything. Dr. Selmonsky has also helped me on many many occasions and has saved my dogs life and nursed him back to health along with a few friends of mines animals. I honestly feel this is an amazing facility and tho sometimes may be costly you get what you pay for. More money is usually better service even tho i have check with vets in the area out of curiosity and it really isn't that far off. I will always bring my pets here because I want the best care for my pets

You better have a bottomless wallet to walk through their door! Expect to come in contact with condescending workers and greedy veterinarians that run tests without authorization and vaccinate for anything under the sun without consent or owner education. If you dare board your dog at this charming place, choose the ULTRA CARE for more $$$. This way your dog(s) can come home with a virus from their kennel and have diarrhea and vomiting all over your house for a week! If you are lucky like us, on top of that, your dog will get ringworm from their kennel as well, and it will leave permanent scars on their beautiful faces! Seriously, this hospital needs a desperate overhaul in their staff. After some time, some hospital staff just needs to be replaced with new, fresh faces that remember why they chose this profession to begin with. In addition, clean your kennels better, and stop trying to bleed peoples pocketbooks dry. Veterinarians like you....................ARE A DIME A DOZEN.

i just wanted to say that i love the place! i have five pets and they are all very happy to come and see doctor Selmonsky and staff. I feel very confortable leaving them there when i go away on vacation, the hospital has a separate cat room for boarding cats and i know that my cat is very calm when he is there. They also have a big indoor run where my four dogs have a ball. I also know that they practice great veterinary care i have been coming to this hospital for years and always followed dr selmonsky's medical advised.

I will start by saying that the STAFF Dr. Selmonsky has working for him is very warm and friendly everytime I have gone there.BUTTT, I have stopped going to him tho bc Im tired of his prices, attitude and impatience. He seems bothered when u ask him to elaborate on any issue and god forbid you keep him for more then ten minutes time he seems to get extremly annoyed. He always seem too tired to want to deal with you (if ur so tired hire a partner) and yes i understand ur a doctor and on call all the time but after a while it just gets bothersome. Its over $70 justtt to walk in the door not including the endless useless tests they will/want to perform.Im so over this doctor and his unprofessional ways. I have found a great place "Basic Pet Care" on rt 109 that is only $55 and much much better doctor. Only go here if ur uber wealthy like this greedy doc is.
