I cannot say enough good things about this place. The doctors, the technicians, the administrative staff...They are all wonderful. They are all kind, compassionate, and easy to talk to. The care is of the highest quality. They make themselves very accessible and the entire facility is spanking clean and smells great!

I will admit West Village Veterinary is pricey, but I would never take my cat anywhere else. Until recently I had two cats. Unfortunately, Mia passed away a couple of months ago due to metastatic cancer at the young age of 8. The staff were professional and compassionate, and as I stood over Mia before she was put to sleep, Dr. Lucy provided great comfort to me in whispering to Mia that this was my final gift to her, to end her suffering. A year prior, Dr. Lucy performed extensive dental work on Mia's teeth, and did a beautiful job. Again, she was gentle and compassionate, and Mia was like a whole new cat after the surgery. And finally, several years ago, when my other cat, Weasel, became very ill, dehydrated, and wouldn't eat (when I brought Weasel to West Village Veterinary she was basically at death's door) the staff ran a gamut of tests to rule out any chronic disease, and nursed her back to health over the course of 72 hours, calling me a few times each day during her stay in the hospital with updates, and allowing me to come visit Weasel each and every day, giving the two of us an examination room of our own to visit in, for as long as we needed. One cannot not give a better gift to their pet than providing them with the outstanding care that West Village Veterinary provides. Dr. Lucy, in particular, is my vet of choice there, and whenever I bring my cat there in the future I will be requesting Dr. Lucy. Thanks, guys. You truly care about our pets; this isn't just a 'job' for you. The vet technicians are also very friendly, gentle, and always go above and beyond. Kudos.

Excellent vet! We've used West Village Veterinary Hospital for the past 2.5 years for our dog and the vets and staff have always been so welcoming, thorough and kind - they provide top quality care and are always looking out for the best interest of our dog. They're always willing to squeeze us in for last-minute appointments and emergencies, too. Great place!

We have been going to W.V. Vet with our labrador retriever for the past two years and we have loved it! The entire staff is so helpful and warm - and also knowledgable. They also do an excellent job of keeping our dog (and us!) calm no matter what is going on. We have gone there for basic appointments like vaccinations, but also when there have been serious issues - and I always feel so at ease and I feel as though I am in such capable hands. I came in an absolute wreck last December (2013) when my two cats had eaten planted lillies, which I didnt know were extremely poisonous. Never have I experienced such a supportive staff. The vet took time with me and was sensitive while still explaining what was at stake. She took time with me and I never felt rushed. I felt so confident in their services, which helped ease my worries. Since that incident, I have gone back a few times. Each time, I am treated with the same respect, and given the same high quality care and attention. I highly recommend West Village Vet Hospital!
