I brought four generations of dogs to St. Francis Hospital for Animals attended by Dr. Christine Schmeiser. She and her husband have given us outstanding service. Now they are retired and I am pleased to report that Dr. Keith Parendo is now in charge and that my last visit to this establishment, last July, was every bit as comfortable and satisfying as when the former proprietors ran the hospital. I am confident that the relationship built up over the years will continue.

I began with Dr. Mowdy in 1974 and have remained a loyal St. Francis client with the more than 13 cats I have shared my life with since then. Although it broke my heart when Dr. Schmeiser and Dr. Indrieri decided to retire, being a retiree myself I know how important that next step was for them. It seems that they left the practice in good hands with Dr. Parendo. He is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable and I look forward to continuing my relationship with St. Francis Hospital for Animals

The staff at St Francis are wonderful! The veterinarians truly have a love and passion for the animals. They are very thorough and attentive and they go the extra mile to diagnosis and treat their patients. My puppy was experiencing some abnormal developmental issues and they went above and beyond to identify the problem and help solve it. They are great with all breeds and make you feel safe and well cared for!!!

For over 20 years, St. Francis Hospital for Animals has cared for our menagerie of four dogs and three cats. In some cases, St. Francis was the first and last visit in the lives of our four-legged family members. The entire staff’s care and expertise during the puppy, kitten and adult years (and then also their compassion during their inevitable, sad passings), just cemented our loyalty to such a professional and caring veterinary practice. Years later when our daughter became an adult had a home and pets of her own, she never gave a second thought as to where she would bring her newly adopted kittens to be seen and cared for. Although there are veterinarians much closer to our home, we wouldn’t think of taking our beloved pets any place else. Even though I am sad to have ended the relationship with Drs. Schmeiser and Indrieri, I am confident that our new Lab, Chaucer, is in the best of hands for many years to come.

My furry family and I have had the pleasure of St Francis since 1980. Dr Mowdy was so very special to us with our Golden Chelsea- so when he passed the office to Dr Schmeiser and Dr Andrieri I knew i was in great hands. Through 2 Labs and 2 cats I knew that St Francis was the most kind and caring place for my pets.Now again,from my Newfoundland to my 5 lb Papillan (and 2 cats) I couldn't ask for more compassion from the staff and the Dr's. They are the best!!!
