An excellent vet center. While I understand the critiques of some of the other posts, especially regarding Dr Leahy's lack of bedside manner/rudeness and I have had some less than professional service from one of the members of the counter staff who seems more excited about the food she is eating and whatever personal call she is on, than helping customers, the other members are quick to help and take care of anything you need. I had a very sickly little cat who had to visit often. The place is extremely clean, always well-stocked with the products and specialty food needed and the staff is more than willing to help you find anything you need or to fast-ship or drop-ship orders directly to your house. The vet techs, especially Heather are so kind and so affectionate. Some people are just born to do the job and Heather is one of those people. The stress level of pets and their owners is almost non-existent in here. Dr Ostrander and Dr Baker are especially wonderful, caring vets. My cat used to leap from my arms into Dr Ostrander's for a cuddle. No stress here! The vets are very conscientious and kind and worked tirelessly to help our pets and were aware of some of the most recent treatment for difficult problems, such as Herpes and IBS that other vets in the area were unaware of. When one of our cats died, I received such kind words and help - I cannot speak highly enough of this establishment and recommend it to anyone in need of a good, caring, professional, vet center.

I have been going to CVC for the last 12 years and have used not only their Vet services, but their Kennel and grooming services as well. Every visit has been exceptional. My dog/cat has been seen at some point by each of the different Vets / Vet Techs and I feel they are all well qualified, caring professionals who give the very best to the animals entrusted into their care. Some of the situations described here do not sound like this vet center at all. Never, not ever, has the vet come into the exam room and sat down. I find they always err on the side of caution when making a diagnosis and explain things in simple terms that you can understand. I can't imaging taking my pets to any other vet. I love these folks, they are the best!

We took our dog to CVC because it was one of the "reputable" practices in the area. Our first visit with one of the veterinarians was excellent, but we had no idea that some of the support staff there are, for the lack of a better term, not ready to work...anywhere. Our second visit with them was a disaster, and that would most likely be the last visit. It's a shame that this practice appears to have good practitioners, but the whole experience was totally ruined by a few incompetent people working for them. Both the kenel manager and the receptionist were both unhelpful and rude to both of us. Their behavior really made us think that the leadership of this practice do not care too much about what happens there. Unfortunately, we no longer recommend CVC to anyone.

We, and our dogs, have been treated exceptionally well by all members of this practice for over 20 years. They have truly gone "over and beyond" just good care, in more than one case. We trust our dogs to these folks, and have recommended friends who became just as happy with them. They are very professional. Veterinarians and other "animal people" tend to be wonderful humans, and these guys are just great.
