I am in the process of transferring all of my house pets to Tara. Each time we've been there, we were greeted, had a MINIMAL waiting time before being seen, we've seen Dr. Gretchen, she is thorough and caring. The office cares about the animals they see, they want to see all animals well, and have various ways to accommodate us, as caregivers. With one particular animal, we thought perhaps she was on her last few months/perhaps year. A few simple questions and answers, Dr. Gretchen recommended some tests- that another office had done previously, with normal results- so she asked a few more questions, gave a feeding recommendation and we have seen improvement in the cat. No other treatment has been necessary. Entirely satisfied. Would recommend to any of my fellow pet owners.

IN response to the bad reviewers.....it's irresponsible pet owners that force Veterinarian's to only accept payment in full for emergency treatments (not for the lack of caring about animals). If ALL pet owners, Spayed, Neutered and Leashed or fenced their animals this would reduce A LOT of pet emergencies. I feel that Pet ownership is a responsibility that is just as important as PARENTHOOD! If you don't agree, then don't bring an animal into your life!! IT IS A RESPONSIBILITY, THEREFORE IT COST MONEY!! Tara has been my Family Vet for Decades and will remain my Family's Vet for future Decades (god willing) Dr. H had to euthanize our beloved dog of 15 years because of her poor quality of life due to old age and he cried right along with myself, my mother and father as he we all watched her take her last breath.....if that is not a CARING KIND HEARTED VET then call me crazy!! THANK YOU TARA FOR YOUR TENDER HEARTS and for not putting up with IDIOTS!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - My friend had an animal emergency and took her dog to this hospital. She called me from this animal hospital crying that they won't take payments. They wanted her to pay $275 for an overnight stay without knowing what was actually wrong with the dog. I told her that I would cover it for you with my Care Credit card. They don't accept Care Credit and they didn't offer any discounts. The young VERY RUDE vet complained that she needed to leave because she was off the clock at 4 pm and wouldn't let my friend leave without paying $75 for the 2 minute exam. She only had $46 and I had to call in with my other credit card for the balance of $29. My friend and her daughter advised me that the vet said "Between the both of them, they should have been able to come up with the $275!" Hmm, how does she know my financial situation? I called my small animal vet and they immediately took the dog in, did x-rays and a thorough exam. The diagnosis was not at all what the TARA vet gave her. We paid my vet $91.50 including the rabies shot and pain medicine. The dog went home the same night and is recovering from bruises, not fractures. She is doing very well. Apparently, this vet got into the business for the love of MONEY not animals. Who would want to have a vet like this???

I love Tara animal hosp. and they do work with you, not nec. a payment option but an excellent discounted price that to me is easier will continue to go to Tara!

i have never had any problem's with Tara animal hospital they have never turned me away for any reason. We have been going there for the past 19 years and my animal's have had great care . i love this animal hospital.
