We adopted an 8wk old kitten (Zipper) from the TOB Animal Shelter in November of 2012, and were encouraged to bring him to the Oyster Bay Animal Hospital for ongoing checkups and health. The staff has been helpful, friendly and professional from day one. Dr. Gallo is bar-none the kindest and most thorough vet, with the patience and knowlege to guide 'new' pet owners. When dietary issues arose recently, she suggested a few small tests, gave Zipper a complete check and suggested a change in food, which resolved his discomfort. Calls with questions are answered immediately or within a day of leaving the message. Treatment costs are resonable, in my opinion. I highly recommend Dr. Gallo and her staff to anyone looking locally for a new vet.
this is just a bad place, doctor wadyal is just a money person,if u dont pay first your pet wont get treat it,and ofcourse dogs or cats from the shelter will not get any pain medication, wny? Just because they pay so little so he will let them suffer in pain.this is just not right...
We have been going to Dr Waydal for several years for my Shitzu Billys care and have always loved the care given to him. Dr Waydal always explains to me what is going on, what he recommends for Billy and ensures that he is well looked after. This last visit was no exception, Billy has had lymphoma removed by doctor Waydal successfully two years ago and last weekend had gum surgery from which he is recovering very well. Dr Waydal has called twice since discharge to enquire how he is doing which is wonderful. Even doctor Waydals assistant Felicia is wonderful in explaining how surgery went, what to expect and generally calming a worried pet owners nerves. We now travel from Manhattan to Oyster Bay to see Dr Waydal as wouldnt dream of going to another vet
This was absolutely thee most disgusting and repulsive vet clinic inhale EVER been to! The floors were absolutely filthy and slimy with grease not to mention mixed with digs feces trailed in from the unkempt outside lot. The staff was so condescending and rude they almost make you feel as if your business is an inconvenience! However the icing on the cake was the fact the fact that they treat your dog or cat in an unsanitary room with unsanitary utensils to which my dog afterwards developed an infection. He squirmed and writhed from the improperly injected vaccine but little did I know that it would lead to the lead to the problems he is having now. I would NEVER take my dogs here again!!!!!!!! Dispicable!!!!!
Dr. Sood has been taking care of our two cats all summer and has done a fabulous job, bringing both of them back from conditions that were incredibly challenging and stressful. Dr. Sood greatly cares about his patients and their families, and does everything he can to assure a positive outcome. Dr. Wadyal has cared for our animals as well (we have two dogs in addition to the cats), and we have found his advice to be helpful and accurate. The staff at Oyster Bay Animal Hospital is also caring and accomodating, allowing us to make appointments easily, even with very little notice. I wholeheartedly recommend the professionals that make this veterinary practice the great place it is!!
