I would not recommend High Peaks Animal Hospital if you are looking to board your pet. First of all I was given conflicting info regarding their policy that your pet must be given a physical by their doctor if staying overnight. I had brought along my puppy's folder that documented her recent full annual physical that he vet had given her 4 weeks prior. I was suspicious when the woman managing the front desk would not show me where my puppy would be sleeping. Her attitude indicated (to me) that she really didn't like her job at all. I dropped off my pup at closing, due to our late arriva from CT(we were vacationing in Lake Placid), and picked her up around 10 am the next morning because of my level of mistrust with the facility. I will say that I was greeted by a very nice woman in the morning who was very different from the first person that checked us in. She likes her job! Afterwards, I brought my pup to Lake Placid Animal Hospital and had an amazing and positive experience with the staff and facility.
