Dr Hughes treated our first dachshund Snickers,(almost made it to 16) and now we take our two girls, Ruby and Scarlet also dachshunds, to Northgate. The support staff is caring and professional. Dr Hughes is a low key,no hype, knowledgeable professional.Dachshunds are uptight by nature but Dr Hughes demeanor is very calming to them (and us!) We just can't say enough about this place.

I have always found Northgate to the most affordable and most practical option, good care, good service, and my dog Balder likes Dr. Hughes.

First of all Dr. Richard Conley, the original vet at Northgate Animal Hospital and his receptionist Kathy, were the best...I know Dr. Conley retired, but where did Kathy go? She was very friendly, informative, empathetic and HELPFUL!! I called today to help with resolving a skunk issue with my dog, and all I got was "I can give you a home made recipe to try or go try the pet store"??!!?? Really? So if your pet is ever sprayed by a skunk and you are a client of Northgate Animal Hospital, don't go there for help, they apparently can't clean your pet if they have been sprayed. Hopefully, your pet doesn't lose their sight and need to have them cleaned ASAP

Both my cat and cocker spaniel were patients at Northgate Animal Hospital. Our cat lived to be over 21 years old; our dog almost made it to 17 years. Very pleased with the service over the years. The staff was very helpful and caring to our dog and our family when it was time to put her down. Highly recommend Northgate Animal Hospital.

All of our pets are clients at Northgate Animal Hospital. Dr. Hughes has been our vet for over 20 years. All of the staff are caring and qualified. Exceptional consideration is given to pet owners during those emotional moments dealing with terminal illness. We were given time to say goodbye in a quiet area and they also assisted us with cremation services. Although the cost of services was never a primary factor when we made our first appointment, we have found Northgate Animal Hospital to be very reasonable.
