I'm new to the area and I brought my dog to St james Animal Hospital for a skin rash. From the second I walked through the door I was treated with respect and compassion. Dr Star explained everything to me in great detail and he took the time to answer all of my questions. Happily the rash has cleared with treatment. The staff was a pleasure to work with. I would reccomend them to anybody.

This animal hospital and American Dog Club(ADC) are linked together for money. Bought a dog from the ADC about two weeks ago and he was diagnosed with Kennel Cough. Before I picked him up to go home I specifically requested that he was checked. They told me that he was "HEALTHY". Last two appointments ive seen a few people who bought their dogs there as well and there dogs with ear mites and kennel coug. Idk whats going on but rings Bells of SCAMM!! Not happy with these ppl at all. Choose wisely people ! 5 year warrenty sounds fishy

I completely agree with the comment below, I am a first time puppy owner and on my first visit I expected to get a lot of information I didn't know; that did not happen. He has mediocre answers for very important questions. I also bought my dog from American Dog Company I called and asked to be switched to another vet and I was sent to Animal Wellness Center in Huntington Station; GREAT Place! Do not take your pets there its useless. I felt very disappointed leaving there. Not to mention I thought my dog was developing a cough and I told the vet he said he looked fine the next morning my puppy woke up with green snot and very sick I took him to American Wellness Center and they treated him right away.

This vet has no clue what he is talking about at all. If I were you I would find another vet fast. He is just looking to take your money without doing anything for your pet. Beware. Stay Away.
