Dr Coughlin is fantastic. We will never bring our animals anywhere else. Dr C brings you back with your pet and goes over your pet's health A-Z. His focus is explaining treatments and vaccinations available to help you make informed decisions (as opposed to pushing anything). You are there, being educated, informed and involved on everything, our dog was receiving vaccinations and I was there holding her paws.. It is crystal clear that he not only loves animals, but he takes pride in his work and is focused on customer service. He remembers both you and your pet's name. Alanna (front desk) is fantastic and shares the same values. Prices are reasonable and cheaper than anywhere I've seen. You will not be dissapointed.
We were fortunate enough to employ Dr. Coughlin to take care of our cat and dog. We had a terrible flea outbreak and despite extreme measures of cleaning our home and trying every off-the-shelf product on our pets, our situation continued to worsen. As a result, our dog became infested with heartworm - it was terrible. Dr. Coughlin carried out a lengthy procedure that eliminated the heartworm and kept it within our budget. He also prescribed the right flea treatment to finally rid our home and pets from the seemingly invincible fleas of Western New York. We have been heart worm and flea free every since! We will always take our pets back to Dr. Coughlin at The Country Veterinarian. Yuca (the Great Northern Arctic Chiuahuah) and Leo (the Longhair Lion) are very thankful!
Dr. Coughlin is the best!!! Wouldn't take my furbabies anywhere else!!!
The entire Country Veterinarian staff are caring, considerate, and despite seeing pets every day always seem to remember you and your pet. Dr. Falcheck was always friendly, and took the time to answer questions. His services were thorough but affordable, and he never pushed unnecessary services on me. When I adopted my cat, Ham, I took him to the shelter's recommended vet for the "free" checkup because they were much closer (I lived on the East side of Rochester). After that visit I realized not all vets were the same and promptly switched back to The Country Vet. Recently, I took my cat in to make sure he was all set before moving out of state as he was acting a little strange. Despite my schedule restrictions, they managed to fit me and my cat, Ham, in with Dr. Coughlin. When I arrived Dr. Coughlin discovered that Ham was pretty sick and needed immediate care. He, and all of his staff stayed well over an hour late to take care of him as an outpatient so I wouldn't have to take him to a hospital which would have been costly and time consuming. When I called a couple days later with my concerns, they remembered him and eased my fears. I would highly recommend Dr. Falcheck and Coughlin to anyone who cares about their pet and wants quality care at an affordable price.
I followed Dr. Coughlin from my previous vet. Dr Coughlin truely cares about your pets. He takes the time out to talk to you about your pets health and all the possible treatments. He knows your pets by names and his clients. He also follows up on all conversatons and treatments. I am transferring all my pets to him because I trust him to help me make all the right decision for my cats and dogs.
