I've been going to Northside Animal Hospital for 30+ years. Every pet I owned went there and they've gone through my pets' good times and bad times. If there's a chance with a critically ill animal, they'll try their best and if there's no chance, they'll be honest. They treat my animals as they would their own. Dr. Salemi was as cool as a cucumber, clipping my Hell Cat Misty's nails, even if Misty appeared to have 8 legs armed with razor sharp nails, moving at the speed of light aimed at him! I have another cat now, just as spunky, that's ready to be fixed. You'll be seeing me soon! Updated: Dr. Salemi treated my spunky cat Dio for worms recently. It was the first time Dio met the vet. He was hostile and difficult and cool Dr. Salemi just took it all in stride. Love him!

I have been going to Northside Animal Hospital for so many years that I cannot count. Prior to owning my own pets, I worked in a "discount pet store" and I had brought sick animals to Dr. Borzio plenty of times to help me nurse them back to health. Dr. Borzio and Dr. Salemi are extremely caring - receiving frantic phone messages at all times and calling back right away no matter the day or time just to put your fears to rest. My first husky girl Tymber was sickly throughout her entire almost-16-year life and my current husky girl Duchess tends to swallow anything in her path...concrete, pointsetta leaves dead squirrels, whatever looks interesting so they have coached me through so many "emergencies" with calm, quiet and super intelligent advice. Whenever I have to bring my girl in they have no problems dealing with her - even though huskies have a tendency to snap at someone who is poking and prodding. Everyone who works there are caring, knowledgeable and animal friendly!! Just have to say I love ALL of them there!! From Sean and Diana to Drs. Borzio and Salemi!!

I love the doctors here and the staff. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. You can tell that animals are truly loved when they are brought to the office. I had so many issues with two of my cats and someone was always there to pick up the phone. I had ran to the hospital many times for emergencies and they take care of you IMMEDIATELY and so professionally. I highly recommend them to anyone. I would never take my animals to another vet.

Northside Animal Hospital has taken care of my dogs for many years. The vets and staff are caring and efficient. They are good with both animals and people (unlike some vets I have gone to) and are up to date with groundbreaking research and ideas. They don't overload their schedule so you don't have to worry about shielding your pet from others. Two thumbs up!

Dr. Salemi is my favorite cat vet. One of my cats is a bit high strung and tends to go into a full-blown panic every time she has to go for her shots. No, he does not manage to calm her down, but I don't think anyone can do that, but he stays very even tempered as she heaps abuse on him, which makes me very happy. Another thing to recommend the practice is the fact that appointments can be made via email, which means that I can remember to do this in the middle of the night, and last but defitely not least, even before email appointments were instituted I actually got a response to an email I sent to Dr. Salemi. This does not usually happen on the internet: everybody has a "contact" sheet, but few respond.
