This is a well-run place with excellent staff. I had to bring in a brand new (and very sick) puppy - the entire experience was a difficult one, but Southern Tier was helpful the whole way through. The vet I met with was very understanding of budgetary difficulties and helped me decide that the puppy needed to go back to the breeder for intensive diagnostics and treatment, and although it was a hard decision to make, it was invaluable to have a vet I felt I could trust to help me through it. Clearly they aren't there to make as much money on running exams as they can (which I've experienced with other vets) as she was basically sending the business elsewhere for the good of the dog. The prices are reasonable and the facility is very nice. I would definitely recommend Southern Tier.
