From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by warm smiles, and other fellow pet owners make you feel like family. Facilities were clean. This is very nice place with even nicer people. The doctor was very compassionate to my six week old Pomeranian and very knowledgeable. The animals that come here look well cared for, a sign that people that really love their non-human companions know that this is truly a great place. By the time I was done, I felt really great about taking my new non-human baby girl there. He had all the answers and was very clear what I should be looking for. You need to take your pet here if you are in the area!

Most dogs hate going to the Vet. Our dog loves coming here. The staff is so nice Daisy does not want to leave. She actually runs to one of the nurses when she comes in the office. They are so helpful and friendly. and of course the Doctor is the best he is nice, funny and very knowledgeable. I don't know what we would do with out him!!!!

I don't know who comes up with these bad reviews, but they are definitely not true. Doc is without a doubt the best vet I have ever been to. I started taking my Golden Retriever there when she was a puppy, now 9 years later, I would never go to another vet ever. He is a little bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. He has been a close family friend ever since and I recommend him to anyone. I live in Queens, NY and travel 20min just to go to him. He is also the exclusive vet for world famous magician Criss Angel's cat. Doc is the sole reason my dog is alive right now and I could not be happier with his work. I would also like to answer these bad reviews, first off this guy Steve obviously is some sort of person that is against this hospital for no reason. The building is not that small, the doctor is great and there is never feces lying around...ever. Once and a while a dog gets scared and pees or poops on the floor, but the workers clean it up immediately and spray disinfectant. I know this to be true because I have seen this happen many times. I have never had any problems and have had nothing but good experiences at the vets office. Doc has performed 2 surgeries on my dog and both times let me come to the office on weekends to see my dog before she was allowed to be released. He has a true passion for helping animals and I really hope these people that have left bad reviews get some mental help because they obviously need it.

Carmen Ave vet is one of the dirtiest facilities I have ever been to. As new dog owners (we have other animals, but are first time dog owners) we allowed the vet to talk us into keeping our puppy overnight (for 3 nights!) for treatment- meanwhile when we finally found another vet to consult with he confirmed that those measures were excessive and unnecessary. The staff is caring, however the vet himself talks very fast and with great sarcasm. He also talked down to us, trying to confuse us with "technical jargon" which wasn't so technical-- perhaps this is because we are new puppy owners but most likely that's just his nature. His staff seems genuinely caring though, and I suspect they are better than that horrid place. Keep your money and your time far away from this place, you and your pet will be better served elsewhere.
