great people great care

I have been a client of this practice for 25 years. I appreciate their compassion for my pets. The buildings are immaculate and the doctors are consummate professionals. I highly recommend both the Aurora and the Mantua offices.

Our last five dogs have all been cared for by Aurora Vet Clinic. I'm not going to comment on fees or costs, those are too subjective and truely not a focus when it comes to caring for our pets. All of our dogs have been, in one way or another, rescues. Having a mixture of Great Danes and St. Bernards tends to make your veterinary needs "Large" to say the least. We have taken our dogs for their first Vet visits at the Aurora clinic and said our last goodbyes to them there as well. How our dogs are treated and how we are treated is what matters to us. I hope to be able to have Aurora Vet clinic care for all of my dogs, now and in the future!

I have been taking my animals since I was a child growing up in aurora. As an adult I generally take them to Mantua. I had to make an appt. at Aurora because Mantua did not have an opening and my very old, very sick cat unfortunately, needed to be put down. A very difficult thing. I was told the shots for euthanasia were $42. They charged me $87!!! When I asked why I was informed that "because you haven't brought him in in the past year we had to charge you for the examination." There was no examination, they asked me 5 or 6 questions and then had me sign the paperwork for the procedure. DISGUSTING!!! Like losing my cat wasn't hard enough they charged me extra because I hadn't brought him in that year?? NICE...I am going elsewhere from now on!!

I took my rat, Opal, to see Doctor Rosen-Sharp, and she helped treat her abscess. The price was very reasonable, and I was only charged for the first visit, and then the antibiotics. I would tell anyone in the area that she is a great rat vet, and to take their rats to her for treatment.
