Took my indoor cat here recently because she had an apparent allergy to flea bites. This was her first time ever having fleas (she is 11), and thankfully it wasn't a big problem. Everyone was so great! The staff is friendly and warm and Dr. Mills gave her a thorough check-up and treated the problem. Within a day she was feeling much better, and Dr. Mills even called to see how she was doing. I'll recommend Avon Lake Animal Clinic to all of my friends!!

We have previously been happy with the Avon Lake Animal Clinic, but will now be looking for a new place to take our pet. She acquired kennel cough while being treated there. When I called them at 8:30 am they said they would leave a message for the vet and would get us some medicine. She was coughing so hard she was throwing up stomach acid and struggling to breathe. When I did not hear back from them by 11. I called them and the receptionists said they were just too busy today to get to their messages and I could bring her to their emergency room visit. I told them I wasn't paying for an emergency visit when I just needed the vet to give me a prescription and if he had time to see me in the emergency room then he certainly had time to read the messages. It took them until 3:00 to get her some medicine. They left her suffer for a whole day and exposed her to kennel cough. A sad and expensive experience.

Love this place! Dr. Krupka and Dr. Mills take excellent care of our dogs, and believe me we are there alot! New puppy, accidents, illnesses....they have been right there with us and always are patient and kind! Our latest experience was with our golden lab Jack who needed a cracked molar removed. Dr. Krupka knew how concerned we were and was very kind and patient with a couple of crazy pet owners who called alot to check up on Jack after his surgery(actually it was more me than my husband LOL). He also called to check on Jack after he came home and now is working with us to keep Jack comfortable and pain free as he battles arthritis and just plain bad legs. Thanks to all of the wonderful staff too. Adrien was great after his surgery and the girls at the desk are always polite and kind!!

We have been using Avon Lake Animal Clinic to care for our Lab and cat for a few years now. We found them when our dog needed to have ACL surgery. Dr. Lamb did a great job with the surgery and we haven't had any issues since. We switched all our care over to them following the surgery and have been very pleased. Their prescriptions are even cheaper than on-line sites sometimes but if they aren't, they don't have a problem writing a prescription for you.

Dr.Krupka and staff are awesome. If you have a question, it is answered, in terms YOU can understand, you don't need to go get a medical dictionary to translate. Care is top notch, they go above and beyond for the pet. Dr. Krupka takes his time with you and you pet, if you walk out uncertain about the problem, treatment or what to do, it is YOUR own fault. Dr. Krupka will take time and answer any of your questions, and will call you back to answer questions you think of later on. The staff is always wonderful, from the receptionists, to the vet techs, and the groomers. No one is every too busy too help you. I have moved to Virginia and have yet to find a vet and staff as great.
