I dont know what more I can say about Dr. Wood. He's a wonderful doctor and I think he is the Dr Pol of Lorain County. Im very greatful to have him around.

I got Bubby when he was 5 weeks old that was 13 years ago... This was where I took him for care...for over 11 years..but at his weakest point this office of so called compassionate employees and medical personal..failed him and myself. ...Bubby was an Akita and 100 pounds. Monday he could not stand up..I knew it was his time. I just wanted him to be comfortable. I called the Lorain animal clinic to see if the vet could come to my home and see bubby..They said they would call me back...I waited and waited...(Now mind you..I have always paid my bill and brought my animals to this clinic..$ couple thousand $ worth)..I finally called back ..well Dr woods is out of town and Dr Hudson was too busy after hours.. so they would call me first thing tues morning...well no call so I called and the girl who took my info the day before called off sick and there was nothing documented about Bubby..so went over the story again...they said they would call back...they never called and still haven't called..I called Douds Veterinary Hospital that afternoon.. Their Dr said he would cancel a few appoints and be right over..This man had never even treated my pet...that's true compassion...Dr woods office should take lessons from them!! ...

Service is average and better when you have an appointment so you do not have to wait all day. They do not allow you to make payments, which is the only downside especially if something detrimental comes up with your animal. We boarded our dogs there and while on vacation they caught that one had gall stones and called us on vacation and took care of it immediately! We have taken our animal other places for Boarding and it seemed better and cleaner from what glimpse I was able to see. Lorain Animal Clinic forgot to lock the crate on our animal, who got out and got into a scuffle with another animal. Then was sarcastic about the encounter which was unprofessional and unappreciated. We only take our dogs there for their vaccines .(convenience of location).. in and out... We tend to board them elsewhere, if we have to board them.
