Just called with an emergency situation..The girl answering the phone was so dumb she couldn't even answer a basic question as to hours the dr's are available and what services they offer..Total idiot..Don't call at 12:48 am if you need answers because they can barely manage a complete sentence..So frustrated at her lack of communication skills that I had to hang up

this vet refuses to release records which are the legal property of the patient. They also tried to charge a fee to fax the records. Every single person at the front desk is rude and has a complete lack of professionalism in a way that I have not come across yet. I am unable to attain to their veterinary skills however, if you have pet health insurance or would at some point be interested in getting it take into consideration that this vet refuses to release records to you so it may be in your interest to look elsewhere.

THEY KILLLED MY KITTY!!! My beautiful cat Precious, Was having kittens for the first time, she had been in Hard labor for 4 hours the first time I called their emergency line at 4pm on Sunday. I told them that this was her first litter and she was only pushing out sacs of fluid which were popping as they came out and after 2 hours still had no kitten. I knew a kitten was probably stuck and maybe dying. I told them about this and they reassured me that this was completely normal for a first litter and to leave her alone for 12 hours and only check on her. so I did so until 10pm that night she was seeming to get weaker and still no kittens and the sacs of fluid were still there only getting smaller. They again reassured me, they said a kitten might be stuck but wait until the next morning and if still no kittens, bring her in and they would xray her. So this is what I did, I brought her in and they xrayed her. The doctor told me that the kittens were too big to ever come out and one of them was dead and rotting. she said for $1000 to $1600 she could do an emergency c-section and maybe save some of the kittens. I explained to her that I did not have that much money I had $300 if they could bill me the rest. She said they would not and if something was not done my cat would die. She then told me that for $407 they could do an emergency spay which would save my cat but they would not attempt to save any of the kittens. Of course, at this point I was more concerned about saving my beautiful cat. So I agreed. She then told me that they needed $300 before they would do anything for her. So, I raced to the bank and brought the money to them. They did the surgery and said that she was recovering fine but the kittens were all dead. I was sad but happy that Precious was okay. When I arrived at 5;30 to pick her up the Dr came out and said she seemed a little weak and she wanted to observe her overnight. I called the next morning and was told to come pick her up because she would not eat because she was scared of the strange place. so I picked her up. When I brought her home she was acting very strange and still would not eat. she began to vomit and was trying to walk arount. So Again, I called New Horizon animal hospital and was told to withold food from her and feed her boiled chicken tonight. This was at about 130pm so, I took her food out and checked on her every few minutes. She was very weak and depressed acting. At 230 my little girl went into the room to get something and came out asking my why Precious's mouth was open. I went in there to check and my cat was DEAD!!! I called them and told them this and all they could say was I dont know what could have happened she seemed fine to me. Basically, I believe that they knew she was dying and did not want to be the ones to call me with the news so they sent her home to die! If they would have told me to bring her in the FIRST time I called I would have my babygirl and maybe a kitten or two. I will NEVER go to New Horizon Animal Hospital again!!!!!
