honestly these people are really greedy. took one of my cats (the oldest of our two) there yesterday and even though i practically told the doctor hat was wrong and that we only needed some flea meds they ended up giving my cat two steroid shots and then flea meds which in the end cost $200 for literally 15 minutes of there time. this morning we brought in our younger cat to get spayed and as soon as we got her there the doctor was trying to get us to get a bunch of other tests done (including a leukemia test that we did on her just last year) look and see if she needed any other shots (which was going to cost money just to look plus around $50 for any shots she needed) plus since my cat was in heat when we brought her in to get fixed it was going to be another $50 on top of the $125 we were already paying to get her fixed. I would love to be able to use this place to take my cats for vet care because of how close they are to home, but they are in it for the money more then for the animals and it honestly really bothers me. definitely going to find a new vet after all of this.
We have been taking our Jack Russel to them since the beginning of this year and have been extremely pleased with their professional and caring approach to our pet. Our dog, Chippy, has has an operation there, received check-ups, and has stayed at their kennel for 5 nights and we have been very happy with all of the care that he has received there. I VERY HIGHLY recommend this place! Chippy is now 11 and is really thriving and I do believe that much of that is due to the excellent care that he has received at Catoosa Small Animal Hospital.
My boyfriend had taken his dog to 2 other vets who were wanting to put his dog down he was so sick. He brought him to this vet, they ran some tests, the previous vet had him on iv that was killing him faster, and this vet found out the dog has Addison' s and he takes a pill every day and one year later he is still alive and healthy.
My dog has parvo and they wouldnt treat her until they knew they would get money
