I've used these folks a few times. They get to you as fast as they can. It's just that sometimes they are busy and other times not so much which is something they can't control. I've always had good results. From reading the other reviews, I find that most of the negative ones are about money...like not having any..like wanting to get emergency after hour care for free or for discount pricing which is not what this ER clinic does. Thanks for being there when you were needed.

We took our puppy in cause he got into my husbands fishing poles and got a hook caught in his mouth, the staff was super nice but when they told us we had to pay up front we didnt have the money well as soon as we said that we got the dirtiest look well we called my husbands granfather who said he would pay for it for us if they could take a card over the phone, well then we had to wait forever for them to even come into the room adn take our puppy to that back to get an estimate which is fine I knew we would have to wait, but all they talked about was money after that. They then came back with the estimate and our dog we said thats fine and paid it the nurse then gave me my dog back and we had to wait another 30 to 45 minutes for them to come get him again. I did not appreciate that they did that this whole time my poor puppy was in so much pain. I would not reccomend these people to anyone! I get we had to pay and I understate the hesitation but to take him back and then bring him back to me and wait another 45 minutes to be taken back a second time makes no sense to me at all!

I went in on Easter Sunday to get my dog's leg looked at. I was thinking, OMG this is going to be ridiculously expensive cause it's a holiday. It WASN'T!!! I paid $70 for them to take a look at my dog and make sure his leg was not broken and also the meds they gave him. The staff was wonderful! I'm hoping the staff has changed by the last review on here because when I went in they were nice, sweet and honestly caring about my dog.

Over Christmas, my dog became ill. I was without a car during this time. After calling all the vets close to my home, all of their numbers either rolled over to AEC or stated to call the AEC. When I did, they suggested I bring my dog in. I called a cab and headed over only to find the Norman location closed on Christmas Eve until 6:00 p.m.--I was there at noon. I called and they said they'd be right up. I assumed someone was on-call and heading over. After an hour, I called again and they said to go the the front door. Still nothing. I called yet a fourth time and was finally asked if I was in Oklahoma City. I said no and they told me that sorry there was nothing they could do since no one would be in Norman until 6:00 p.m. I explained my situation and how I had to take a cab just to get my dog there. They put me on hold and got a vet on the phone, Dr. Flinchbaugh. He asked me what was wrong and I explained the situation. He listened by going, "yeah...uh-huh...ok" and then said that there was nothing that could be done until Norman opened. I stated that they really should answer the phone and let callers know they are calling OKC. He said they should and it must have been a fluke--four times?!? I think not. When I stressed the importance of my dog being seen and the inconvenience they caused me, he said, "I'll give you half off the exam." I said that's great but that still doesn't remedy the situation. He then snapped, "I will not be your punching bag! I said I'm sorry, what more do you want?!?" I said, "Compassion." He said, "I've seen thirty patients today, I care!!!" DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE!!!!! There are some fabulous clinics available in the area that do care not only about the animal but about the people who bring their animals in there, too.
