We have used Dr. Leighton for 30 years. He's caring and it's obvious he has a love for animals, and caring for them. He certainly rates 5 stars!!!

My husband and I went to several Animal Hosp. And found that Leighton was the best. In the State of Oklahoma. Love their staff. We will miss bringing our dogs to see them. As we had moved out of state.

I remember as a child my parents taking our pets to Dr. Leighton. To this day, as a senior, I still take my 7 sweethearts chihuahuas to see him. He's an excellent vet, very caring, and prices are extremely reasonable. I would not use another, unless a specialist was needed, such as eye surgery, etc! You will not find a more caring, understanding vet. He never rushes you in and out. Spending time with me, and my dog, when they are ill, or in some trouble, is of the utmost importance to me! The most difficult thing will be when he retires, and trying to find a replacement vet, as there will not be another one like him. I cannot give him a high enough rating..he knows how important our furry, forever friends are to his clients. He is what some might call, and no joking intended...a "dog whisperer"!!! He is very understanding, and shows great care, and compassion to his animal patients, and their owners!! You will not be sorry you take your pets to him...He is just "THE BEST EVER"!!!!

I have a rescued animal that was abused as a puppy, even after 8 years she is still fearful of people, especially men. I used to take her to a very well known vet, but I had to call ahead of time to make sure no men were around, place wasnt busy, etc...and still she hid under my chair while they gave her a shot. The Very first time I took her into Leighton, she didnt cower, tuck her tail or try and run. Not sure what it is about Dr. Leighton, but he was extremely understanding and puts animals first. His staff is also exceptional with the animals and their owners. My other dog was very shy and yet he kept standing up in the window to check out the staff lol. I havent been anywhere else since. A++++++
