I recently purchased two juvenile cats. Both of which came to me with what seemed like a head cold. I called Wedgewood after reading the reviews on google. I started by making an appointment for Saturday morning ( this was on Wednesday). After getting off the phone I noticed one of my cat's noses was bleeding so I called Wedgewood back and spoke to Dr. Heintz who said I needed to get them into him as soon as possible. I had a appointment for an hour later. Dr. Heints is amazing. He took time to explain what he was concerned about, what he was going to do, and how soon they should start feeling better. This is the best vet I have ever had for my pets. Just amazing. Both of my cats had a sever sinus infection. They were just passing it from one to the other. Dr. Heints prescribed some antibiotics that would keep working even after they are finished with them. He also gave them each a steroid shot so that they would start feeling better faster. In with hours of having them home I was able to see a dramatic improvement with eating and playing. I will recommend this vet to everyone I know. Wedgewood is our furry friend vet now! The reason I gave them four starts and not five is because the receptionist at the front desk came off as very cold. She seemed as though we were inconveniencing her. Outside of that the visit was great. Update 3/10/14 Once again, not only did Dr Aaron meet my expectations but as always he has superseded them. Took our new family member (and brother for Miss Alice) into Wedgwood Animal Clinic today to have him fixed. I was asked to bring him in at 7:30am, upon arrival Toby (Our new little guy) and I were greeted with a warm good morning Dr Aaron was already there ready to great us and answer any and all questions/concerns I had. Dr. Aaron has always been wonderful with my furry little family members. No matter if it's a update on shots or to have them fixed her well take the time to listen, make you feel at ease all the while, paying such care and attention to your pet. I have nothing negative to say about Wedgwood or Dr Aaron. I recommend him to everyone I know and those that happen to be looking for a new vet. Oh, let me also not forget about the receptionist calling to check on your pet the next day, Dr Aaron will also personally email or call to make sure you have no concerns or any issues! For me this is big. Never have I had a vet shown such compassion and care for my pets. As long as Dr Aaron is in business he will always be the only vet. I will go to.

Dr Heintz has been my animals savior and also my pocket books too. He really cares about the animals that come into his office and will work with you on payments (im sure in some cases) we take our dog who has been seeing him since he was a puppy and before my other cat passed away we took her i have only been here a yr and I really enjoy coming to this office. I still take my other cat infact just came back with her and they went easy on my pockets and really took good care of her I had to run and they asked me to keep her there for the after noon so they could run tests to find out what was causing the issues still and didnt charge me an arm and a leg...jiffy lube did but not them!! They really do care about you, they may be having a bad day when some visit but hey! don't we all? i recommend this vet to anyone in the OKC area because he really cares about my fur babies. I love seeing the receptionist with the new exotic hair color all the time haha i told her that one the time too!
