This vet enabled my cat to be stolen through "care." While my RARE cat was being fixed and boarded, he lied and told me I had to pay whole bill up front. Boarding was 126.00 a day x 6 days! I said my atty told me 1/2 up front then the rest in payments was sufficient. He out and out refused to turn over my cat. 1 day before, his groomer said she wanted me to know my cat would have a good home with her if I couldnt pay my bill. WHAT?! Vet said he put my cat to sleep. DOUBTFUL! NEVER TRUST HIM OR THIS "BUSINESS" PLEASE!

Doctor john and his wife are an intriguing couple. They are a wonderful husband and wife as well as partners in business. their relationship is no less than a norman rockwell painting. they have taken care of our pets for several years and hopefully this doggie doctor partnership will continue for as long as needed. It is a real comfort to me to know that I have vetnarian with the competant skills,compassionate persona,and the ability to communicate to my level of understanding in this community.this town is fortunate to have john and amy commited toward our needs and i personally invite you to come to south hickory to the gardenier park vet and get to know them.i promise they will take care of your beloved pets needs.norma hobgood

The vet didn't even talk to me when I came in to get my dog's shots, no introductions or anything. The assistant was just rude and snarky. There is one lady there who was very kind and polite, she doesn't fit in at this place at all because the other two are just awful and seem to truly hate their career choices and working with animals. I will never go back.
