Our dog had stopped eating completely. We took him here about a month trying to figure out why. All the while he never ate, kept losing weight, and got prescribed more and more pills. They would either do bloodwork or prescribe another pill and tell me to wait a week and make an appt if he does not improve. Every week the same thing. Finally we went for a 2nd opinion because we were watching our dog die. They figured it out within one visit, and had surgery scheduled right away. Will not ever go here again.

Do your pets a favor and do not take them here. All they have in their eyes are $$ and I overheard them saying terrible things about a client who had every intention of paying, but whose credit cards were declined. The techs compete with each other for "sales". It's one thing to recommend services that my dog may need, but they earn money for doing this, which makes me wonder how badly my dog needs it. They also recommend services that are entirely unnecessary. Heart rate monitoring is optional during surgery. What? That should be included with every surgery. They recommend bloodwork on every single dog that goes under- even young pups. This place is backwards. Even if they did things right, they are not the sort of people I want treating my dog..

This clinic really is not very expensive. When calling around to different vet clinics I found that the Perkins Road Vet Clinic was the most reasonably priced. They even offer a Rabies Vaccination only in which the vet does not examine your pet, just a shot is given. The staff is friendly and the services they offer are great! I highly recommend the Perkins Road Vet Clinic.
