A friend of mine recommended Dr. Horton since I was new to the area. This by far is the best vet I have been to. She is very caring and loving towards my animals. They love her! All the vets I have been to in the past has never been so caring for a animal. My dog refused to go to the vet until I started taking her here. Its a low stress place and that's why I like it. Not a lot of people running around going crazy. The prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend this doctor.

I used to live in St. Helens and took my dogs and cats to Dr. Horton. After moving to Portland I tried several vets, but ended up coming back to St. Helens Veterinary Clinic. I trust Dr. Horton. Unlike a lot of the Portland vets, I know when Dr. Horton recommends a procedure it is because it is in the best interest of my animals. Dr. Horton has a lot of empathy for my pets and she has been right on target in her diagnosis and treatments.

I have been taking my pets to this vet regularly since 2000. I have used them both for annual check ups, routine visits and emergency visits. They have always been great with all four of our pets. We thank them so much for saving our precious kitty when she had been seen recently for poisoning. I feel their pricing has always been reasonable even when our pets have been there overnight.

LOVE this vet clinic!! My lab had a major yeast infection on his chest and after numerous vet visits to a clinic just outside of town, $100's of dollars spent and my labs yeast was actually getting worse, I decided it was time to find another vet. The first visit to the St. Helens Vet Clinic, my lab was finally given a medication that worked!! This is a great clinic! They care alot about the animals and they are way cheaper than my former vet (who charges for EACH visit). This clinic does NOT charge for follow-up visits regarding the same issue!!! I highly reccomend them!!

This vet acts as if she doesn't like animal. In the couple times we have gone, she it seemed that was burden to care for the animals there. She was not friendly and quick to react too negatively to almost everything. The care she provides only reaffirmed this impression. We have used this vet twice think the first time might have just been a bad day but we were wrong. For what she charged us you would think that she actually did something. What ever you do don't take your dog here if you love them.
