I trust two cats and a dog to these folks and have never had issues with the people here. Had issues with some of the other St. Helens area vets, but those have undergone ownership changes over the years and may be in better hands than they were. Been going here for 7 or 8 years now because they've earned my trust and have been good to my fur family. Prices were fairly comparable to other vets, but do your research because that was a while ago and things may have changed.
Rude Staff!! RUDE RUDE RUDE... Poor customer service skills in person / phone. Some should be working in the back shoveling dog/cat sh*t where there is no public contact. Love the vets and treatment of our pets/livestock. Too bad we were not treated the same. I see others have had the same experience..
Not even 1 star! Unethical, unprofessional, very pushy, NO compassion and definitely does not have our best interest in our Rare and exotic felines! More so for the money and charging extra fees.. Humiliating and very very RUDE and expensive for a simple problem. All about the money and not the animal.. Not recommending any of our clients from our 12 year breeding program to this vet any longer!!!!! Reporting to RIP OFF REPORT . COM as my husband was pushed by Dr. Fowler then he kissed our ass and shorted us on antibiotic meds and blamed it all on us, and claim they charge to refill each time. Antibiotics are very crucial to do on schedule GET IT RIGHT IN THE FIRST PLACE. Make the money guys while you ruin people lives and kill their pets. I guess you guys need the money more than we do!! BAD BUSINESS, Not happy customers. And it's sad because we live right down the road! Midway has spit in our face for the last time this is the last straw! I have heard so many people tell me horror stories about Midway in the last 15 years of service, Horrible business!! It should be shut down! You call yourself a veterinary hospital.... But you are not even organized nor professional! We want quality and a vet who has our cubs best interest. This is about this animal, not the money and not drama. Wow are we blown away that you guys can continue to get away with this.. DONE!!!!!!! Moving on! We don't take NO SHIT... JUST WOW
This clinic was more concerned about getting paid then saving an animal. The estimate for the emergency c-section was upwards of $2000.00 dollars. They required the money before they would even stating looking at my pet. I understand that this is a business but when time critical the focus should be on the animal in stress.. After I paid it was another hour of trying to get the puppy out with medications and manipulation that where ineffective. I am a breeder and know that once labor has stopped for a long period of time is more then likely not going to start again. Finally after over an hour they took her into surgery only to find the puppy free floating in her abdomen.Yep now a two year old show bitch had to be spayed because they would not listen to a breeder that could not possibly know what she is talking about if they had only not pumped her full of drugs that cause violent contractions and blown out her uterus. . A week later I had another bitch having difficulty delivering her puppies. Needless to say I got on my phone and was able to contact another vet close by that would work with me on the financial end of things. My total bill at the other clinic was $1045.90 that is almost 1/2 the cost of the bill at Midway for in my opinion better care. I walked in spoke with the vet a vet that I had never met told him what was going on with my girl and he took her right to surgery Sadly not everything worked out well for my pet and her puppies we lost 5 of 10 however it is my opinion that if I had gone back to Midway I may have very well lost them all. If you find your self looking for a new vet try Dr Robinson or Dr Reager at companion pet in Scappoose. Very nice staff and very understanding they truly care about the animal.
I loved there detailed work on y doxie Scooter! It costed me almost double the price at my old vet. They listened to my concern and did exactly what I requested. My old veterinarian was good but with care taking my parents Midway is closer for me now. All the staff I encountered were well informed, caring and sweet. Thank you for caring so much. Bella
