Dr. Tracy Sands is perhaps the most compassionate, competent, and professional vet I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Linda and Bryce fit well into Dr. Sands philosophy of treating pets; what a wonderful caring team. We started using Healing Paws in August, 2014 and as well as keeping our pets healthy they also helped us through a difficult time as our old Chocolate Lab had to be put to sleep. They came to our home and with patience, sympathy and professionalism allowed our lab to "cross the bridge" in her own yard, in familiar and comforting surroundings. I hope never to have to bring my pets to a "clinic" again. When my pets see her van pull into the driveway they get excited, not anxious, and can't wait to see her. What a wonderful concept in pet care! Thanks to the Healing Paws entire team for the wonderful care and service.

Dr. Sands was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She provided clear answers to my questions and provided up-to-date information. Her and her assistant, Bryce, were wonderful with my two cats. They gave them ample time to adjust and went at each cats' own pace. Clearly, Dr. Sands and Bryce paid attention to the cats' comfort level which was refreshing to see. I thought one cat in particular would be scared and not like the experience. But by the end of his exam, he was content to have treats and definitely thought Bryce was among his best friends! It is a blessing to be able to care for my cats' health without putting them through the excess stress which often comes from car rides, unfamiliar animals, and the busy environment at a vet's office.

We took Cara (our dog) to Healing Paws and were pretty desperate for help. She was hot to the touch, losing hair and itching non-stop, wouldn't stay outside for long at all. The only thing other vets did for her was give her a steroid shot and that worked but was only a temporary fix. Cara had been slowly getting worse with allergies since she turned about 4 I would say. We did everything we could think of (within our budget as we have 3 dogs) So I was hesitate to take her to a specialist because I didn't want her to be a testing ginny pig and we honestly didn't have the money to fund experimental testing. But we wanted relief for Cara and I got online and found Healing Paws in Carlisle PA! Well after the first visit with Healing Paws, Tracy Sands, we had results! Cara is back to her fun self, playful, hair is growing back and she is happy and loves being outside again!! We think it was a food allergy (allergic to grain) but we know Tracy saved our girl and for that we will be forever grateful. :) Oh and it didn't cost us fortune. Highly recommend this veterinary care.

Dr. Sands and her vet assistant provided the best care possible under the circumstances. Our sweet 13 yr old cat had to be put to sleep and they arrived promptly as promised, and helped "Kitten" pass into the pet afterlife, calmly and peacefully. We will be forever grateful and indebted for their super compassionate service, and genuine caring nature. God bless!!

Absolutely everything about our experience with everyone there has been first rate! I am just thrilled to know they are there! Such kindness and caring, not to mention understanding of what is needed. I would highly recommend them for anything pet related!!!
